A huge fire broke out at one of our petroluem refineries. 632,511 gallons of petroleum were lost in this devastating fire.

Phase I, II, and III of Operation West Wall are complete. Paris is surrounded by the Russian Federation. Phase IV has begun with heavy shelling in the areas immediatly surrounding Paris.

The cost so far has been pretty steep with the loss of 33 units, mostly support and artillery. French air opposition was extremely aggressive and more dense than what anaylsts had predicted. Our air units in the Western Theater are being thinned out and running ragged. We must bolster our air force in the west if we are to take the fight to the UK anytime soon. Hopefully Paris will fall and the rest of France will surrender and we can incorporate a considerable amount of the French Air Force into the Russian Federation.

The GRU and MI 6 have been playing a ruthless cat and mouse game in the UK. Our spies have been infiltrating the UK on missions to sabotage their coastal radar systems in preparation for a massive air base strike. The British MI 6 has always seemed to be one step ahead of the game for the last couple of weeks and we have lost many agents. We did have one cause for victory as several of our agents managed to damage the coastal radar system near Great Yarmouth in the UK. We are continuing to press these attacks of sabotage on their network. In the meantime the director of the GRU is hammering down on recruitment and training and is requesting further funding to bring the GRU back to its Cold War status of glory and fear.

Paris has fallen to the Russian Army; however, the French, weary of 2 occupations in less than 100 years resist and have moved their government to Marseille. Furious, the Russian President has ordered the sacking or capture of all the cities within the Paris Pocket hoping that this might motivate the French to surrender.



August 28th, 2020
After 10 days of shelling and capturing several cities in the Paris Pocket, the French have still not surrendered. Our armies in the Western Theater begin to reorganize and redeploy while CINC of Western Military District and his generals consider which of the three plans for contingency phase V of Operation West Wall would be best. CINC WMD has given his generals 48 hours to offer suggestions while they meet in Moscow.

Marseille Contingency Phase V for Operation West Wall

3 plans for review A,B, and C

Plan A is an all out Airborne Invasion of the Marseille area. All Airborne Troops and Special Operations Troops of the Western Theater would saturate the secondary French Capitol Marseille and the surrounding area. Ground units of the 6th and 20th Army would for the most part remain on the existing FOB to the north conducting assaults in a broad sweep of the front. We would need several more days to perhaps even a week for our air transport force to be fully refitted and repaired to launch the raid and continually supply the force. This plan is a gamble in that we expect the French to surrender once Marseille falls. If not our airborne forces would be cut off.



Plan B relies on two spearheads, 6th Army on the left axis driving south and 20th Army on the right driving south. Baltic Fleet Naval Infantry has already infiltrated to south an east through the mountains and is ready to strike 20th Army's first area of opposition from the south. Once our forces break through the first lines of opposition our Airborne Troops would launch an airborne assault on Marseille. With plan B we expect to see even more losses throughout the WMD forces as forces punch through heavy opposition to reach Marseille. Our logistics would really be stretched covering two separate thrusts. However, if one axis is stalled the other should succeed and provide relief for our airborne troops.



Plan C is based on getting all of 6th Army and Baltic Fleet Naval Infantry through the mountain passes of eastern France, while 20th Army is the diversionary axis drawing in French opposition. Obviously the path of least resistance but our generals are not sure how the equipment will fair through the mountain passes and it will be a logistics nightmare. Airborne forces will also participate in the main attack on Marseille.



Intelligence has shown that a considerable portion of the French Navy is based around the Marseille area. We would like to capture as much of their navy as we can; however, if plans go south we are bringing in some of our ASW forces from Norway and outfitting some of our fighters with anti-ship missiles.

If the French do not fall after Marseille, we may have to consider pulling in some of our forces from the Southern Military District and Central Military District.

Our forces in France have begun their thrust to Marseille following Plan C of the fifth phase of Operatin West Wall. As a precautionary measure the 49th Army of the Southern Military District has been redeployed to cover the westen flank of our forces in France and to provide a reserve force if neccessary.

An alliance between Austria and Greece has been formed.

Our agents in the UK have been succesful with sabotage raids on several radar facilities on the British coast.

South Africa, Eritrea, Cote d'lvoire, Somalia, and Burundi have all declared war on Libya. The Russian Federation declares war on these countries through the Mutual Defense treaty we have with Libya.

September 9th, 2020
Our forces have broken through the defenses surrounding Marseille and have captured France's second capitol. A tank brigade from the 6th Army is pushing east along the southern coast of France while forces from the 20th are starting their thrust westward to link up with the 49th Army's southern push along the France's west coast.
The French have garrisoned nearly every town and village making our advance difficult.

September 10th, 2020
Mother Russia celebrates a major victory in Europe with the capitulation of France. This is great victory, and the Russian Federation has gained much from this endeavor. We now have naval ports in the Mediterranean along with a sizeable captured French Navy. The French have also agreed to turn over command of their ground forces which should serve as a significant defensive force in France freeing up the 6th Army and 20th Army to reorganize and build back up in preperation for the UK. Although in need of repair, the French Air Force will also bolster our depleted air assets in the western theater. The British have declared that if the French turn over their naval assets to the Russians that they would sink them in the ports. Any air assets in the area have been tasked to patrol the Channel waiting for the Brits to strike.



The French have also turned over their forces in the Caribbean and we have aquired thier colonies in Guadeloupe and Martinique. In South America, The Russian Federation now has a toehold with French Guianna and the Guianna Space Center was a nice aquisition giving Mother Russia another platform for bolstering our satelite program.

September 10th, 2020
Shortly after the French turned over command of all of their forces to the Russian Federation the British launched a massive strike against all naval assets on channel coast. Just as word was received that French naval vessels were now under command by the Russian Federation, British missiles began to rain in. Several French vessels were destroyed before crews figured out what was happening and orders were cooridinated between French commanders and Russian commanders. Finally some shots were fired off by French subs on the coast which caused the British naval to cease.

As anticipated, the British conduct a deep ariel strike into France with their Eurofighter Typhoons. Our air patrols along the coast have downed a few Typhoons, but several have penetrated our defenses and wrecked havoc on our support and artillery units.



September 12th, 2020
The British are forcing an attack through the Channel tunnel. After a day of fierce fighting our forces entrenched on the French side of the Chunnel were forced to retreat. Reports of a tank reinforced mechanized infanty brigade are trying to push through the tunnel. An order was given to lauch a heavy missile bombardment on british troops forcing an entry into France. Generals on location of course immediatly recognize the situation, "A missile attack on an under water tunnel without damaging the Chunnel itself..right". Regardless, not wanting to be shot for refusing orders, they launch a coordinated missile strike on the French entrance of the Chunnel, but to no avail. Our defensive forces have been seriously degraded and forced to retreat. Generals on scene quickly devise a plan to allow the British brigade entry into France were we can then surround them and cut them off.

Yea it got buffed to prevent it from being destroyed so easily. Becouse when it gets destroyed the AI has a hell of a time going across the channel. I also did so to change its name. I have not acualy fought there myself. But have watched many AI battles go on there.

We have allowed the British to push their attack onto our soil. Roughly two British brigades of Challenger Tanks and various IFVs units supported by artillery were allowed to penetrate onto French soil. Out in the open French terrain they were cut off and then picked off easily by a brigade of our tanks from 6th Army and helicopter forces. Several British units managed to escape this trap and limped back through the channel tunnel but were then intecepted by several of our air units on CAP over the channel.

Determined, the British made several organized efforts and tried to punch through the Chunnel over the next couple of days but were chewed up. Eventually they learned that another way was needed to gain access to France. It is our hopes that we can rebuild Western Theater forces back up to 80 to 100% strength while our newest force, the 1st Expeditionary Army forms and trains for dense urban combat in and around the Hamburg area. In the meantime our forces are performing Anti-ship and limited CAP over the channel in efforts to draw out British fighters.



September 26th, 2020
The 1st Polish and 1st Belarus Army, both on the northern border of Slovakia, have been given orders to neutralize and capture Slovakia. With the capture of Slovakia, all countries that share a land border with the Russian Federation and that we are at war will have been neutralized. Our defensive border forces will be able to finally stand down with the exception of a few units in potential hot spots. Our DEFCON rating may even be reduced to 4 or 3 as we will have no direct land contact with hostile forces. This will greatly reduce our defence costs and Mother Russia can for the time being focus on internal affairs while we build up for an invasion of the UK.

September 27th, 2020
The Russian Federation President nearly choked on his morning tea as Slovakia declared to the world that they have declared an alliance with Finland. He demands that we double our efforts in Slovakia and has granted permission of the 3rd Tank Army to reinforce this attack along with calling in 1/2 of the air units conducting CAP along Channel coast to participate on air strikes in Slovakia. If Finland announces that they are to honor their alliance and conduct attacks on the Russian Federation a major reshuffle of plans will be in order. If Finland declares war it is only a matter of time before Sweden declares war on the Russian Federation. If Sweden declares war, the UK will be on hold even longer. The longer the UK is on hold, the higher the probability that the US decides to send forces to support their Atlantic Allies.

GRU spies that have infiltrated the UK have successfully pulled off massive sabotage of coastal radar facilities at Great Yarmouth and Margate. Soon we will have a complete blind spot along the UK coast in which we will be able to conduct deeper air strikes.

Reports of our DAR are down to 20.6 which is a negative from our previous DAR report. We need to neutralize Slovakia and lower our DEFCON and send our border defense units into reserve. Hopefully with that we can offset our current tax rate and slightly bolster our social programs to let our new citizens know that the Russian Federation is a system that works.

A strike of luck! The Irish have had enough of the UK making demands and have declared war on the Brits. This will help focus the British attention on the Irish while we continue to bolster our forces and degrade their forces. We only hope that this does not peak the interest of the US.

The Slovakian capitol of Bratislava has fallen to Russian Federation forces. Slovakia, seeing that their Finnish allies have no desire on sticking their finger into the beehive on their eastern border, has declared an immediate surrender to the Russian Federation and ordered that all forces are to turned over to Russian command. The Russian Federation now has complete neutrality along all of its land borders.

Battle for the the Shetland Islands.

As the UK stands in our way to dominate the North Atlantic, the Shetland Islands stand in our way for an invaion of Britan. The naval base at Lerwick is of vital importance if we are to gain a foothold on the northeastern shores of the UK. The radar system there must be captured if we are to land troops near Aberdeen from Norway. The brits are clearly aware of our sabotage operations and we have lost several GRU agents in this area conducting sabotage operations on the Radar and Air Defense Systems. We need troops on the ground and an airborne attack is out of the question due to the state of the art Air Defense system in Lerwick. A naval invasion on the northern shores is our only chance but we must destroy any British naval vessels in the area first. We have begun to position ships near the Shetland Islands in effort to draw out any naval forces that may be operating in the area. Our fist catch of the day are 3 British SSN and 2 Destroyers.



October 21st, 2020
A British Carrier, the Queen Elizabeth is spotted and is quickly sent to the bottom of the North Sea. There are still a number of British subs operating in the area and we have lost several of our own captured Norwegian subs and several frigates and patrol craft. An effort to hunt out these subs is under way. We have conducted a few ASW flights, but they were quickly decimated by British fighters.



October 22nd, 2020
Ireland falls to the British. We are considering on launching a quick amphibeous strike from Iceland onto what was once Irish soil to establish a beachhead before the Brits can set up defenses. We must be cautious as we are unshure of any British naval activity along the western Irish coast. British subs are what we are most concerned about and we do not have a strong enough sub detecting and hunting force in the area.

Battle for the Shetland Islands

One of the largest submarine on submarine battles is taking place under the surface of the sea near the Shetland Islands. 5 Russian Akula II SSNs and several other captured Norwegian and German submarines are stalking 3 British attack submarines. The British subs are taking advantage of all of the oil rigs in the area to mask their missile strikes on our surface fleet.


October 24th, 2020
Reports indicate that the last British attack submarines operating in the area have been sunk. Our naval invasion force staged off the northern coast has begun landing operations



One of our spy planes flying over Ireland indicate a pretty strong presence of British troops in the area. An airborne attack of oppurtunity has been suggested and denied due to the heavy British CAP flying in the area. If we are to be successful with an invasion of the UK, their air power has to be reduced and their airfields a priority target.

October 26th, 2020
Lerwick has been captured. Orders are given for a temporary airfield and barracks to be built on the Shetland Islands. We will continue our build up of the 1st Expeditionary Army and the training of more airborne infantry.

Libya and Iran are starting to show signs of faltering. CINC Southern Military District has suggested that we mobilize troops and demonstrate a prescence in Iran. Also Turkey must be taken into our fold if we are to have any show of force in the Mediterranean. The 1st Tank Army, 49th Army, and Caspian Flotilla Naval Infantry have been given permission to cross the Iranian border and to position themselves on any contested front that Iran has.

Forces of the Southern Military District aree now in Iran and facing off directly with Turkey for the first time. We have sent a few recon patrols and some spetnaz troops into Turkish territory and have discovered that much of the eastern portion of Turkey is relatively ungarrisoned. CINCSMD has requested that we take advantage of this and start expanding into this unsecured territory. Permission is given and 1st Tank Army and the 49th Army start shelling the heavily garrisoned towns on the Iranian border.

Israel's power in the middle east is growing like wildfire. The UAE and Quartar act and declare war on Israel.

Recon elements of the Caspian Flotilla Naval Infantry positioned along the border of Turkmenistan have indicated a very light presence along the border and near Gorgan. CINCSMD issues orders for the CFNI to begin pushing into Turkmenistan. CFNI makes contact with a very light Turkmenistan garrison on the western edge of Gorgan. Within hours of initial contact a division sized force of Turkmenistan light infantry flood the area and nearly surround our initial push. We took a huge hit and lost 10 support units ranging from artillery, air defense, and logistics battalions. The CFNI commander quickly assesses the situation and orders an immediate counter attack and asks for air support. 4 squadrons of SU-27s and Mig- 29 and 3 squadrons of SU-39s are dispatched from the Turkish campaign to assist with the counter attack.

The Russian Federation has a significant presence in the eastern territory of Turkey and is now starting to meet heavier resistance. The Black Sea Fleet and a light force of 2 Marine brigades of the Black Sea Naval Infantry have been tasked to capture the city of Trabzon.
