Not enough to whipe them out or anything. But if they droped a hundred or so ambpib infantry on the coast it would defenalty put a wrinkle in the russian advances.

April 1st, 2021

Kremlin, Moscow

1st quarter, 2021 meeting

With the fall of the UK, the Russian Federation has secured its last immediate threat to mother Russia. Our borders expand not only from the Atlantic Coasts to the Pacific Coasts but also many territories around the world fall under our banner. Our patriotic Russian born citizens and growing collection of annexed citizens now deserve to prosper under a United European Russian Federation. Members of the Russian Federation Ministery and Defense are gathered to enlighten of our growths and shortcomings.

The Production Minister was asked to speak first and reports that he is suggesting production of Ag, Water, Timber, and Consumer Goods be placed at 110% of demand as over the next couple of weeks growth in demand is expected as our domestic picture settles and begins to prosper. There is a large surplus of Petroleum and he is requesting that demand for be set to 70%, use our stockpiles up while prices are low and keep our production costs down. Coal is being requested to 105% of demand and this area is one that we would like to start reducing all together. Metal is another area where we have a large surplus and iproduction here too is being requested to 70% of demand. Uranium and Industrial Goods on the other hand are being requested to a production level of 200% of demand. There is a shortage of production versus demand in Uranium of 89,500 kg, and 48,629 t shortage of Industrial Goods. We have captured several production centers for both of these items however; a great majority are under repair. We have also started construction of national production centers in the heart of our motherland to address these shortages. It is hoped that within 6 months to a year these shortages should not be an issue. Electricity production is being set at 105% demand and we are selling off a large surpluss as well. Coal powerplants are being targeted for a 50% reduction over the next 3 months. Military Goods are being requested to be produced at 120% of demand as the large surplus is being sold around the world and off setting our budgetary short falls.

The Research Minister gave his report next and reported that we have just cranked up our funding by 200% and that we are funding 91 research centers, and 15 seperate projects to help us shrink the technology gap with our enemies. Currently we rank 12th in the world and show a technological level 9 years behind the Japanese, 8 with the US, and 5 with Tawain. Research efficiency is reported at 82% as of April 1st. We went from $1678M to $7153m by going to 200% funding. Several gasps around the room and a comment was raised about the necessity of funding so many research centers. Could we put several of those facilities offline and reduce this massive expense and still get desirable results in closing the technology gap? The Russian Federation and Finance Minister agreed to this question and ask for a further review on this.

The Finance Minister reported that currently as of April 1st our social programs funding is at 20.4% and our income from taxes across the board is 66.5%. Over the next couple of months a series of small percentage increases to our social program funding is scheduled and decreases to our taxes. We have a team that is going to monitor these changes to help adjust a workable program that both supports the growth of our social programs and stimulates growth in small business and corporations to help fund our treasury. After the fall of the UK our treasury sky rocketed with the wealth of the UK empire filling our treasury from $97,749 to $475,430. Our GDP went from $10, 864 at the begining of the year to a steadily growing $12,125 as of April 1st. Our daily income is $16,133 and our daily expense is $21,557, a $5,424 deficit which came after we kick started our research programs a couple of days ago. Inflation is at 1.5% and Unemployment is at 7.0%

A majority of our big ticket expense come from:
Research - $7153
Production - $4095
Military - $2867
Military Preparedness - $2581
Social Services - $3236

Our big item income is coming from a steady Domestic Sales figure of $9371 and small business taxes are shining in our taxes with an income of $1902. Military goods continue to be our number one export and we average around $1500 a day from military goods and supplies. Petroleum and Electricity exports were good a month ago, by prices and demand have dropped leaving us with a huge surplus.

State addressed the assembly next with an overview of world situation. For the most part the 5 major alliances remain the same. A few have gained or lost members. His staff brief the members with an overview:

Eastern Alliance: Russia, Argentina, China, Cuba, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Libya, Nicaragua, North Korea, Uzebekistan, and Venezuela

Western Alliance: US, Romania,Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Israel, Romania, and Japan

Pacific Alliance: India, Australia, East Timor, Japan, Papua New Guinea, Phillippines, Singapor, and Tawain

Middle East Coalition: Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudia Arabia, and the UAE

New World Order League: Argentina, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Cuba, Georgia Republic, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Libya, Paraguay, Peru, Phillipines, Spain, Venezuela, Ukraine, and Vietnam

We have been following the situation in Africa closely, there are no major alliances in Africa, most of the countries are in all out territorial war with the South Africans becoming the dominant force. The rest of the world is for the most part neutral, there are few small 2 to 4 member alliances popping up here and there that are being watched. The New World Order League is still the alliance that has both State and Security Offices baffled. Members of this alliance are members of the Eastern Alliance and are the reason why most of our military adventurism is so carefully planned. As of now the members of the NWOL have stayed out of our affairs, but if relations should go from closed doors to open war the Russian Federation is surrounded by a military force that could only lead to nuclear exhchanges to secure our borders from mass troops from the Ukraine, China, Spain, and others on our borders.

Head of Security spoke next and reported that the GRU has expanded to 21 intelligence units available for opperations. We have also started to make gains back into space with 3 communications satellites providing 20% coverage and 3 reconnaissance satellites providing 18% coverage.

The Minister of Defense spoke next. He started off by requesting that the DEFCON level be lowered from 1 to 2, even though we are at war, our borders are secured and the threat level is not as severe as it was when the UK were launching strike missions into Europe. This will lower our military preparedness cost significantly as well as placing many of our 1449 units into reserve status along with the other 1665 units already in reserve. As of April 1st our military expense was $2867 and military preparedness cost were $2581. Unit production costs are at $518 with 52 production facilities for ground troops, 25 for air units, 40 for naval units, and 1700 facilites for the production of missiles. Total army staff is at 2.71M.
Our victories over the last year and some months since the war erupted are measured in a loss to kill ratio of 1:4.3 or 3782 enemy units lost to our 860 units lost. Latest military casualties are at 438,007.
The Defense Minister also outlined the new Russian Federation Military Organization:

As the briefing was coming to a close one of the Defense Ministers staff rushed into the room with an urgent message. As he read the message he declared that Brazil has infiltrated lower France with an expiditionary unit of brigade (seperate) strength. 3 mechanized infantry, 2 tank, and various support units have been spotted operationg in lower France moving north. The French coast is clear in the Mediterranean of any enemy naval activity and Brazil is at war with Spain, how in the hell did they get a brigade size expiditionary unit into Spain and finally into our territory with out being noticed.

A Brazilian force consisting of a brigade (seperate) strength has penetrated into southern France via Spain. We have no air transit rights with Spain so we are unable to conduct air reconnaissance over Spain to see where this force has originated from. Recon flights along the coast of Spain have revealed no Brazillian naval transports, so we are guessing they have launched a rather small and clandestine force somewhere in Spain without their knowledge.

The Brazilian force managed to quietly maneuver with out being noticed all the way up to Lyon where they made their presence and intentions known. They quickly captured a large area as many of the cities and towns here did not have a garrison force. Reports indicate that our French citizens openly welcomed the Brazillian force.

Image

6th Army was reorganizing near this region and we were able to quicly dispatch 3 T-80 tank regiments and a regiment of BTR-90s to surround the area and destroy the forces. Before our forces were able to maneuver into position a 2 squadrons of SU-39 went to work picking off Brazilian tanks and mechanized infantry units.

Within the day the regiments from 6th Army had routed out and destroyed the Brazilian brigade.

This little event has enlighted our military leaders of how quickly any enemy can mount an attack and from anywhere. Commanders of all military districts have been issued orders to bolster all major routes into the Russian Federation with at least a regiment of tanks to support the garrisons occuping cities along our borders.

Sorry for not posting for a while. We just had a baby girl so computer time has been sparse.

This AAR is not dead, I plan on getting back into this once a regular schedule is established, soon.

No worries, familiy/life always come before gaming. Enjoy each and every second of it! When the little girl grows up, gets married and leaves home, it leaves a void...

April 3rd to April 14th, 2012

Firming up our grip on our aquisitions around the world, construction orders were issued for bases to be constructed at Diego Garcia to support our Indian Ocean Defence Forces. In the South Atlantic the Falkland Islands will serve as a base for the Falklands Defense Force, the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific will serve the Southern Pacific Defense Force, Bermuda will be the staging area for the the Caribbean Defense Force, and Nuuk, Greenland will serve as a base of operations for the Greenland Defense Force. Runways, Sea Peirs, Barracks, and Fabrication facilities supported by radar installations and AA instalations have all been started at these locations.

To bolster our blue water navy so that we can go toe to toe with the US Navy, a massive naval base is established along the coast of Belgium and Holland. Several more naval fabrication facilities will be added to this area within the year. The Germany Flotilla and France Flotilla have been tasked with the defense of this vital venture.

In an effort to cut our staggering research costs several captured research facilities have been orderd for destruction or scrapping. We will gather the best and the brightest and concentrate our research to increase efficiency up to 200% within a couple of months.

Our census workers have begun the daunting task of sifting through the millions of refugees finding skills and opening jobs. With that our economy is slowly beginning to recover. With this recovery we have started the slow process of trickling tax reductions and offering more and more social services to keep our core citizens happy and to give our refugees a sense of hope and oppurtunity under thier new administration.

6th Army of the Western Military District has been detached and has begun preperations to join the Southern Military District. This army will be sea lifted from Gulf of Lion to Libya and support an offensive in Tunisa. 20th Army has been detached from the Western Military District as well and begun the long road march to Baku to support an offensive into the middle east. The Belarus, Polish, and German Defense Forces have been disbanded and reattached to the 3rd Tank Army which will be the primary Army of the Western Military District supported by the the 1st Provisional Army, Norwegian Guards Defense Force, France Defense Force, and UK Defense Force.

April 10th, 2012
The US has repopend an air campaign on Cuba. Cuban officials are reporting major losses to their land forces as advanced US strike fighters operate from carriers positioned off of Havana.

April 14th, 2012
Italy's momementum has returned and Austria falls to the Italians.

April 19th, 2012
An air patrol in the Black Sea has revealed that the Ukranians have built a CVN-1143.5 Kuznetxov class carrier. Although an older design this vessel is still a formidable threat in the Black Sea where our Black Sea Fleet is stretched thin supporting operations in the Mediterranean.

April 20th, 2012
Armenia has declared war on Iran. 2 Armenian light infantry divisions are seen rolling south towards Iran. Finally we have an excuse to begin an offensive on this thorn of country and through our Mutual Defense Agreement with Iran we justly declare war and begin our attack.

Image

Southen Military District commander issues orders for the 1st Tank Army to move north towards the capitol of Erevan and shell the city from across the Aras River. A motorized brigade from 58th Army will stage in the northeast and a tank brigade from the 58th will push west in the south and cut off the the 2 Armenian divisions.

April 24th, 2012
Within a day of our forces from the 58th Army taking thier positions the Armenian defenses lit up and mobilized to defensive positions and began their own counter attacks. 20th Army, fresh from its redeployment fromthe Central Military District and staged in the Baku area served as a saving grace. We were able to immediatly put full force on the Armenians in the north and the south and began to push their forces back. They took massive losses as our air power picked off enveloped pockets. By the 24th, the capitol is nearly surrounded from the north, east, and south.

Image

April 26th, 2012
The Armenian capitol is captured but forces in the north make and effort and push to cut off our supply lines in the north.

Image

April 28th, 2012
Gjumri has been established as the Armenians second capitol. Forces from the 58th Army and 20th Army reorganize and make push on Gjumri and quickly surround the area.

April 30th, 2012
Armenia falls as the last pockets of Armenian resistance in Gjumri are defeated. The Russian Federation gains very little in terms of captured military hardware; however, we finally have a direct land route connecting mother Russia to Turkey and the Mediterranean. Land surveyers are immediatly dispatched to survey this region and begin construction of a road system that passes through this narrow area to efficiently move supplies and troops from the heart land to Turkey.
