With the plans for Germany under debate and analysis the Russian President has called his highest cabinet ministers for a private meeting regarding the Russian Federation's status and direction. The highest military leaders, the GRU head, Research minister, Production minister, Finance minister, and State minister all met in a highly secured room to decide on the fate of the Russian Federation.
For the most part, the news was good, there is growth and reserves in production with the exception of Industrial goods which is being addressed. Research is at full pace and increasing to close the estimated 10 year gap with many of its Western counterparts. The GRU has been bolstering its operations. State is working on bringing in many stubborn countries that are neutral or aligned with other countries hostile towards the Western Alliance or bolstering members of the Eastern Alliance. Finance reports that there is about a -2500M to -3000M daily difference between income and expense but this can be offset with periodic trades of petroleum, military goods, energy, and aquisition of finances and resources from captured treasuries. State also suggests that a majority of costs are coming from the military and military production costs. If there is a period when our DEFCON level could be lowered and a large portion of our deployed troops could be reserved, our daily income/expense would be in the positive.
After an hour of debriefing the President invited his leaders to prepare a list of 10 objectives that would lead Mother Russia to its ultimate and most glorious goal- Russian World Domination. Along with this list a plan for tactical and strategic goals where outlined. No timelines were set as much of the timing depended on the completion of a previous objectives completion.

Operation Achilles begins. Plan B was chosen as more forces in the north would be neccessary if the German govenment does not fall with the capture of Berlin. We have secured a rather large technology deal with Spain and gained several key naval advancements. It was costly but hopefully worth it if we are to be ready for projection in the northern Atlantic anytime soon.

France declares war on Hungry. Both Hungry, Bulgaria, and the Ukraine refuse any of our diplomatic requests for assistance. Whatever will tie down the opposition in Europe works very well with our plans.

An Akula Class attack submarine is destroyed by German frigates and a transport carrying 4 battalions from the Baltic Fleet Naval Infantry. The Eurofighter is proving to be a worthy air advasary and plans are underway to to launch a massive attack on several German airfields.
The Middle Eastern Coalition is also signed by several Middle Eastern countries. Egypt, Saudia Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and Iraq are members pledging mutual defence towards one another.

Just as our forces in Europe begin to regroup and redeploy in the now Russian Federation occupied Germany, several members of the Western Alliance that we had hoped to stary neutral for a while longer join the U.S. and U.K. and declare war on China and the Ukraine. The Russian Federation of course honors its Eastern Alliance treaty with China and declares war by Mutual Defence on the following countries: Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, Estonia, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, and Canada.
An urgent meeting by the president and highest cabinet ministers is called. New deployment plans and a revised strategy in Europe is to be drafted and presented by 1200 May 16th at the Miltary Operations Room. Plans for Operation Northface is to take priority over any other operations.

Emergency Meeting regarding timeline advancement for Operation Northface and redeployment of forces in the Western Theater.
Our plans for aquiring naval and airbases to project power in the Northen Atlantic have been moved up with the recent turn of events in Europe yesterday, May 15th. On the plus side we did not have to declare war unjustly on the countries involved in the plan. Prior to Operation Northface many of our war weary forces in Europe will need to be redeployed, mostly to provide a defensive line against the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Slovakia. Other forces are being shifted to forward staging zones for Operation Northface which will be outlined briefly. The Kaliningrad Fleet will disbanded and vessels will join with the Baltic Fleet. Our Airborne Troops will also be reoganized a bit and several new brigades have been reactivated as newly trained troops have finished their training: 11th Air Assualt BDE, 56th Air Assualt Regiment, 3rd Special Operations BDE, 10th (Mountain) Special Operations BDE, and 12th Special Operations BDE. These new highly airmobile brigades will help greatly with filling in operational gaps in Operation Northface.
Initial Briefing for Operation Northface
While plans are still being refined Operation Northface is scheduled to commence within a week provided that forces can relocate and the weather holds. As outlined operation Northface is the first stage of capturing vital naval and air bases to project an offensive rather than defensive force in the Northern Atlantic. Denmark and Norway are the first objectives with Iceland a crucial second. With Estonia and Lithuania now involved in the war they are obvious thorns in northern Europe and will be occupied by the Russian Federation once forces are in position. Prior to Northface, SSN flotillas from the Northern Fleet and Baltic Fleet will secure coastlines of Denmark and Norway while the Northern Fleet and Baltic Fleet stages for amphibeous invasions all along the Norwegian coast supported by Western Theater Airborne Troops and Special Operations BDEs from the Special Purpose Troops Command. 6th Army, 3rd Tank Army, and 2 Mecanized Infantry Divisions from the 1st Provisional Army will provide the framework for the invasion. Denmark will be phase 1, Norway phase 2. Iceland will be phase 3 once the first two objectives are secured and we have a solid launch point in Norway for amphibious and airborne attacks. Further details and changes will be released during the week while we redeploy, and recon forces probe Danish and Norwegian defenses.
Further interesting information has just been evaluated by the GRU. About a week ago on May 9th, several high ranking Hungarian officials have been picked up in a small town on the southern German border near Slovakia. Although the information we have obtained is sketchy and limited it may appear that there may be some sort of shadow organization manipulating many governments around the world. Information from the Hungarians suggest several government leaders from the prior Hungary, Belarus, and the current Ukraine are being bankrolled by some organization with some serious influence. This shall be looked into more deeply, and may explain some of strong regional and global alliances sprouting up all over the world.

In southern Europe Italy continues its successful expansion and declares war on Luxembourg. Slovakia declares war on Italy which will lesson the burden on the 1st Polish Army and 1st Belarus Army.

Cuba, Venezuela, Columbia, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Kazakhstan, and Iran all declare war on Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, Estonia, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, UK, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, Canada, Israel, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, and the US.

Phase I of Operation Northface has been going well and the 6th Army's drive to the northern port of Denmark has encountered very little resistance. Several landings by our Airborne Troops have captured key bridges and airfields in the area. The 3rd Tank Army is encountering a bit more resistance in its drive towards the Denmark capitol. In the north in Norway, elements from the 1st Provisional Army have started their long march towards the west coast of Norway. The 3rd Special Operations BDE has secretly been dropped near Hammerfest to scout the area. Norwegian ground resistance appears light in the north and two Akula II SSN flotillas are patrolling several ports and so far no Norwegian naval activity has been spotted in the north. The Northern Fleet and Northern Fleet Naval Infantry should have an easy go.
