thank you. well, i was thinking Austria, Czech rep, Slovakia, Denmark and then France

i'm not a fan of attacking small countries with lots of units like Belgium or Holland. It gives me too little room for maneuvers.

Operation Anschluss: Conquest of Austria

It will be a simple plan. We’ll attack by every major route that leads inside the country with the main forces focused on Wien. We will try to encircle the city and capture it as fast as possible. Other, less important objectives are the barracks and airfields at Salzburg, Graz and Innsbruck.

00:00, 15th Oct 2030 – We start the offensive
06:00, 15th Oct 2030 – Our troops have taken Salzburg and have already reached the gates of Wien
10:00, 15th Oct 2030 – We captured Innsbruck and all the western cities
00:00, 17th Oct 2030 – We took Graz
20:00, 17th Oct 2030 – Wien is surrounded
12:00, 18th Oct 2030 – We entered one of the suburbs
10:00, 19th Oct 2030 – We captured the military installation near Wien
00:00, 20th Oct 2030 – We captured Wien and Austria is ours

We will now prepare for the invasion of the Czech Republic (I will also take Luxemburg in a quick operation before that). In this campaign we lost 6 units and destroyed 169 Austrian units.

The chances of us taking out Germany alone are negligible. The only way I think we can achieve this objective is by provoking a war between them and our allies around them. We will do this by amassing long range aa and artillery units in Austria near the border with Germany. We will also send land units from time to time and tempt them into reacting. Our goal is provoking them into declaring war on Austria and hope that this causes a reaction from the countries around them. We will keep the bombardment up for as long as necessary. If that doesn’t work, at least we’ll kill as many of them as possible. If our plan goes well we will proceed with phase two.

I miss the days when this used to be a very workable tactic...I havent seen it work in some time though sadly.

Hows your diplo ratings holding up with your ring of allies ?

Yea, in my campaign with Andorra, every single time I declare war my diplomatic realtions with the government of my allies goes almost to zilch. With the public relations it's either concerned or very concerned.

Operation Hammer: Conquest of the Czech Republic

It will be a simple operation, pretty similar to the Austrian one. We will advance from all sides with the main objective being Praha. We will also have to capture the important military installation at Kolin.

Image

12:00, 18th Dec 2030 – We declare war and start the operation.
00:00, 19th Dec 2030 – By the end of the first 12 hours of fighting we have made great progress on the southern and western fronts.
02:00, 19th Dec 2030 – We captured Trebic
08:00, 19th Dec 2030 – Some of our units have already reached the outskirts of Prague
18:00, 19th Dec 2030 – We have cut the country in two
18:00, 21st Dec 2030 – We finally took over Plzen after a long siege.
10:00, 22nd Dec 2030 – We managed to capture Kolin. Heavy fighting there and heavy casualties on both sides
22:00, 22nd Dec 2030 – We captured the military installation near Praha
06:00, 23rd Dec 2030 – We have encircled Praha and are attacking it from all sides
16:00, 23rd Dec 2030 – We captured their capital
20:00, 23rd Dec 2030 – The Czech Republic surrenders. We are redeploying along the Slovakian border and preparing to attack. The Czechs lost 280 units and we lost 18 units in this operation.

Operation Anvil: Conquest of Slovakia

Another pretty straight forward operation. We will try to take advantage of the position of Bratislava, their capitol, right on the border. We will attack it directly, while also sending important attacks to the nearby military installations at Trencin and Kuchyna. At the same time we will mount another attack in the east against the military installations at Prestov and Kosice.

Image

12:00, 8th Jan 2031 – We declare war
00:00, 9th Jan 2031 – We captured Kosice and our troops advancing from the south reached the Polish border cutting Slovakia in two
06:00, 9th Jan 2031 – We captured Trencin
12:00, 9th Jan 2031 – We captured Prestov
16:00, 9th Jan 2031 – Bratislava is surrounded
02:00, 10th Jan 2031 – We captured Bratislava
12:00, 10th Jan 2031 – We captured Kuchyna
18:00, 10th Jan 2031 – Slovakia surrenders

Aftermath:

After a very short campaign we also captured Luxemburg. With this we have completed our campaign in Central Europe. I have decided to postpone the invasion of Denmark. During our campaign a few countries kept declaring war on us. We are now at war with Ireland, Portugal, Cyprus and Sweden and an occupation of Denmark will most likely embark us on a campaign in the northern countries. We will now take a break. No more operations are planned until the 2032 elections. We will rebuild our forces and focus on economical development and military research until we are ready for the next operation.
So far, in our wars we managed to occupy a territory of 1,449,000 sqkm. We destroyed a total of 3569 enemy units with a loss of 481 units of our own and the death of 437k men. A terrible loss of life but for incredible gains. Our operations in Italy and especially Germany were the best example of Romanian resilience and the courage proved by our men during those campaigns is an example for every military force in the world.
Our country now numbers 256 mil with a GDP/c of 39435$. We have an army of almost 1500 units, an air force of almost 200 units and a navy of almost 100 units. We’re still lacking some key unit types like a strategic bomber and we need to fix this asap.

After the elections we will have 4 campaigns to focus on:
Fortress Europe – We will invade France, Belgium and Holland and secure most of our western borders
Eastern security – We will conquer Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the Ukraine
Meet the Vikings – We will invade the Scandinavian Peninsula and occupy Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
Oil Search – We will occupy Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus thus opening the road to the Oil fields in the Middle East

You're pretty good at this game. I wish I could learn how to play this game; I seem to not understand the economy well enough. I tried following an economy guide, but I'm not sure if it's a bunch of unnecessary information. Anyways, keep up the good work. I can't until you take over my country, (the USA), because my government sucks right now 8_ .

If you really need oil right this minute I suggest conquering norway for their north sea oil supplies. Or you can Take out the eastern countries for a short oil gain in time. (i find their is many hexes with the min. oil. Or if you can wait on oil but still need it go for the SE Europe approach into the ME.

If you need electricty conquer france because I got a huge supply of electricity but that may have been all the techs I researched with the E=MC2 cheat.

It will still be some time before i'll face the US. The tech level alone scares me. They're at 150 we're only at 94.

I don't really need the oil but it would be great for the economy and the income from exports would be considerable. We still haven't built oil rigs on all the oil wells on our territory and we still have a 500mil bbl surplus in production. I've tried to focus my energy facilities on hydro and nuclear but i think i'll change to coal since it brings me no profit anyway.

Does anyone know what the power other consumes?

PS. France is more appealing for me because the uranium reserves

Try a naval landing at Tunisia to gain a foothold on Africa, or possibly a naval landing in Ireland, to spread out your sphere of influence in Europe. Try to send only a few units to some Carribean Islands and Pacific Islands to get an economic stance as well.
