Synopsis

Deciding that I had enough of a force to start an offensive against South Africa, I started with an air bombing campaign
on South African military units building up around the Land Fabs at Nampula. The ground invasion started soon after which
"kicked the antpile" and prompted a counter-attack by South Africa. At this time Libyian units have destroyed 30 SA units and are not done attacking. The bulk of the force currently sits just NW of Pemba. The invasion started with Vodniksx3,M113x6,BTR-Dx6,Merkava4x5,ZTS-62x1,Thunder Artyx3,Lar-160 Artyx2 and various fixed wing squadrons that included supply planes, Interceptors,Ground Attack, and Strategic Bombers. Naval assets consists of 1 sub a U-13 more less just to block any surprise assault from sea. 1 Vodnik and the ZTS-62 are returning for repairs. Bombers took some damaged from SA Ratel-23 AD units that moved into their flight paths that followed the road and are being repaired. The operations have depleted missile stocks once again and Pharaoh Hundane will be ordering construction crews to build more facilities in March. Other than that, he is happy with the results.

Uganda is at Peace.

Nigeria has not engaged thier enemies.

Lebanon is at Peace.

Sudan reports 39 kills and 47 units lost with 56,277 dead/wounded. Intensive fighting occured along a front from Kassala to Al Qadarif to Ad Damazin. The Sudanese forces repelled a strong offensive from Ethiopia and now have pushed the lines back to the original Sudanese border in some places.

Syria reports 150 kills and 340 units lost with 274,593 dead/wounded. Only sporadic fighting near Adana has been reported.

Iran reports 117 kills and 63 units lost with 88,570 dead/wounded. Heavy fighting occured around Quetta. Iranian units in southern Pakistan are succumbing to supply shortages and are getting isolated.

Uzbekistan reports 48 kills and 7 units with 41,861 dead/wounded. They have not made any attempts to engage either SK or China.

Russia reports 1123 kills and 659 units lost with 645,394 dead/wounded.Russia has mounted an attack against Norway at Vadso but seems to lack coordination. Helsinki Military Complex is being shelled daily from Artillery in Tallinn and has severly damged all the facilites. Arty has also shelled the Capital and Vantaa. Operation against Turkey continue at Kayseri,Malatya,Nigde,Kirsehir, and Yozgat. Kayseri has been surrounded but continues to hold out. The Front along the border of China remains quiet neither side looks to be wanting to fight. South Korea briefly captured the military complex at Vozdvizhenka but a Russian counter-attack swiftly pushed them back.

Croatia reports 49 kills and 83 units lost with 80,257 dead/wounded. There has been a lull in the fighting this month since the announement of a Formal Alliance with Albania. Albania, also aligned with Bosnia, may be trying to mediate a cease-fire between the 2 regions. Most of the Balkan regions remain at Defcon 2.

China reports 1017 kills and 1186 units lost with 587,196 dead/wounded. Activity along all thier fronts except against Russia. Despite the loss of men and units, they have not lost that much ground and gained quite abit against Mongolia in the east and thru the central portions of the region. Kazakhstan is slowly enveloping a large area around Changji and Urunqi.

Venezuela reports 43 kills and 50 units lost with 97,042 dead/wounded. The second month in a row of no reported fighting. Libyian Intel reports amphibious assualt ships being loaded in Caracas. Still no info on its possible destination.

Synopsis

Operation Grizzly Bear that started in february is still ongoing. Several smaller operations were conducted this past month to further support Operation Grizzly Bear. Only 2 units,An AA unit and 1/2 Patrol Squadron, were lost during these operations but there were heavy causualties, close to 4 thousand. The operation was flawed in that Pharaoh Hundane ordered his military commanders to proceed w/o proper Air cover and w/o suffcient AA units. Until more AA can be deployed to the area, Pharaoh Hundane has ordered military commanders suspend offensive operations until AA defenses are properly deployed in the area and numerous damaged aircraft can rejoin thier squadrons in air operations. Currently the bulk of the Libyian units involved in operations against SA are in a defensive formation centered on the crossroads west of Mocambique. Vodnik Light Infantry units are positioned to defend the villages of Pemba and Montepuez.

Sudan reports 46 kills and 47 units lost with 70,805 dead/wounded. With Merkava 4 units leading the way, Sudan has pushed into Ethiopia and Eritrea. They have pushed as far as Gonder in Ethiopia. In Eritrea they have pushed the front line away from Kassala about 50kms.

Syria reports 150 kills and 340 units lost with 276,320 dead/wounded. Syria looks to have started a major offensive against the Turkish held city of Gaziantep.

Iran reports 120 kills and 67 units lost with 97,323 dead/wounded. The bulk of thier forces in Pakistan are now positioned about 100km SW of Quetta. A few units have been isolated west of Khuzdar but it looks as though they are attempting resupplying them.

Uzbekistan reports 48 kills and 7 units lost with 41,861 dead/wounded. They have not made any attempts to engage either SK or China.

Russia reports 1165 kills and 680 units lost with 667,526 dead/wounded. Russia has devoted alot of Air transports to supply the few units fighting the Norwegians. Not much land has been gained or lost in that area. They continue to pound the military base at Helsinki with Arty. Poland and Lithuania has regained quite abit of lost ground in Lithuania. Russia now only control a small area around Paneveys and Ignalina. Russia still holds Kaliningrad despite several attempts by Polish forces to capture it this month. Russia forces have gained control of lands less than 180km away from Ankara. All quiet on the Chinese front. The SK front has seen a little action but SK seems to be concentrating its military against Chinese targets.

Croatia reports 49 kills and 83 units lost with 80,403 dead/wounded. Small skirmishes have been fought but no major activity by either Croatia or Bosnia.

China reports 1036 kills and 1212 units lost with 608,022 dead/wounded. Heavy fighting with South Korea forces have occured all along the front. The city of Dandong and village of Songjinag have seen the most fighting this month. Not much activity in the western fronts but the southern front with Myanmar and Vietnam has seen a few skirmishes.

Venezeula reports 44 kills and 50 units lost with 97,121 dead/wounded. Just a little bit of fighting was reported this month.
The amphibious assualt group is still at Caracas but has unloaded its cargo.
