Australia

Post by HeyHey78 »

Australia, the land down under, recently held a National Election in the midst of global turmoil. The United States, once the world's most-feared nation, crumbled over night as the dollar lost all its worth. Though, things got bad even in the east as China and Russia divided themselves, and North Korea has once again declared war on its southern neighbor. Australia is barely surviving, but looks forward to strengthening itself with chants of: "Power to the People", the newest slogan of Australia's new Prime Minister, Doug Randolf. He has a five point, bullet-proof plan:
Product Self-Sufficiency - No more importing of goods.
Better Education - Doug wishes to make his nation the smartest in the world, to do this he has intentions of pouring an extra ten billion a year into education.
Isolationism - Australia hopes to keep itself out of a possible World War Three.
Military Modernization - Australia has a lot of old, useless militia designs. Doug has made it his mission to scrap them and create more powerful and efficient weapons.
Anti-Missile Systems - Australia will probably be a target for invasion and/or missile bombardment. This system will stop any missile from reaching Australia's capital system.
Upon Randolf's election, he moved the capital to Sydney, a hot tourist destination. The move has saddened many people, but the change of scenery should do everyone some good.

Australia rushed to make a new ally and pick up one of the deadliest, most efficient bombers on the market from California. Australia practically stole it from California, as they only offered five million dollars for the design and promising to protect California from any threat with financial and militia support.

The United Nations has become angry with Australia, and is threatening expulsion if they produce the F-117A, or even sell it. Randolf has yet to respond to the United Nations. However, from his latest public outing at a five star cafe, he probably doesn't care much.

Australia has entered a mild recession, but forecasters say Australia should recover in a few months. That's good news, very good news. However, many investors are worried because the United Nations has placed heavy trade restrictions against Australia - only food is allowed to come in. Prime Minister Randolf expressed mininium concern and promised to "ascend Australia into the Heavens as one of the mightiest powers this world has ever seen." After his message, he sent diplomats over to Israel immediatly in an attempt to gain the design for the powerful Merkava Four tank design.

Prime Minister Randolf has also announced he will be heading to India, which is one of the most powerful nations in the world ever since the collapse of China, Russia, and the United States.
