CBG-1 comes under fire from 2 hidden Ming Class subs. after 30 minutes of battle 5 more subs came into combat, All 7 Chinease subs where sank, No US ships sank, However one 287-Angol Transport was severly damaged. It has been sent to a repair yard.
CBG-1 Was temerarly pulled back, But will shortly head back in once two sub packs procede to the area to verify it is clear.

2 Wolf packs heading up the coast of China on thier way to aid CBG-1 came in contact with enemy subs near Hong Kong. 2 more US subs where lost. Even thow thier was shallow water there, meaning a good chance of rescue, President Ruges forbad the rescue of such s poor captain and crew that would risk thier ship in such poor circumstance. These same subs contacted more Chinease of the port of Shantou. New direct orders where given to head to sea before proceding up north. Ruges orders the XO of these subs to take command and the captians be retired to the crews bunks.

With the subs having cleared the area of remaning subs CBG-1 moves back into position to perform an amphibious landing. CVN's spread along the coastline and launch fighters for air protection. and the LHD's move in for preporations for landing. All was going well. As soon as the first LHD neared the port of Shanghai, China sent out a few more subs. and garrisions spawned. the LHD's came under heavy fire. Then Some of China's fighters and bombers where sent in to defend the coast. US fighters squadrons where under heavy duty, but there where so many targets, a few made it threw to the LHD fleet and fired thier missiles. The LHD's where becoming damaged, and becouse of this where forced to unload there battle scared cargo onto the nearest shores. This caused an even greater response from the Chinease airforce. A LHD and a few cargo ships, and a couple frigs and destroyers where lost. However a beachhead was established and land combat began, US bombers now with more live targets began unloading thier payload. The 6 cargo ships carring the armor and artilary are moving into position to unload at the captured port.
Heavier then exspected losses have been reported.

US forces begin to spread out from Port Shanghai. GMT tanks take the lead and provide coverage over the countryside. XAV's assualt the cities. A barraks, AA, and Radar sight begin production at Shanghai port.
Thousands of missiles are launced. SSBN's continue the launch of new Trident III's on China barraks. US down to 3 spies to provide targeting for the SSBN's. Marine Scouts called in to provide new targeting.
