Help me out! AAR advice.

I am wanting to do an AAr for shits and giggles, but I dont know how to capture screen shots. Can someone help me out, and offer any advice i might need?

Hostilities might begin by tonight...but I want to hold off until I can get good pics of everything.

This does not just apply to SR2020, but any game, or situation you can do this (like take a picture of yoru desktop or what ever).

But what you do is press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. Then goto start accesories and open up "Paint" or any other picture editing software you might prefer. And click paste.

From there what I usualy like todo in order to save space. You use the tool that allows you to cut out area's of the map. Which you then select the area you want people to see. and copy that. Then open up a new paint and paste it. Then save as. I sugest saving it as a ".jpg".

If you guys are into AAR's, which, surprising as hell as it is to me, I've found myself to be (I was giggling away until three in the morning reading comoros guys AAR), I hope you like mine.

Ahh now here comes the more complicated stuff. There are a few ways of doing this. Many of the people here use external hosting sites. I am not very familure with them, maybe somone else can explain how they are used, and which ones are beter then others, many of them are free to host but have restrictions. The secound option is to see if your IP lets you host a webpage. Thats what I do. Many years ago when dialup was all I had I got an account with Earthlink. Which gave me dialup, webmail, and 10 10meg websites. Even thow I dont use the dialup anymore, I keep it for the email and webhosting. Which I just upload photo's to, to link the pictures on forums and such. The third option is to attach the files here on the forums. (although you are fairly limited in the size you are allowed to host).

Screen hunter seems to be very nice. I like to use the forum itself as filebase for pictures. A link-filebase dissapears over time.

I write a AAR with my next game.
