US's After Action Report

I am not going to make this a great story with facinating characters like those other AAR's (You have Leafgreens AAR for that great story). But this is going tobe a report on how this game goes down. What events happen and when they happen.

the game is World 2020 in crissis. Victory is complete. Difficulty is VH for military, and VE for economy and diplomacy, with diplomacy switching to H at the start of the first day. Enhanced spoting and ranges are removed. with resources at standard and initial funds at defualt. approval effects changed to high. Along with having a critical united nations.


Jan 1, 2020
Today is a buisy day.

12:01am Cabnet ministers are locked out of thier offices and told to wait for President Ruges in the the Mural room.

6:00am Ruges explains that they are no longer in control of day to day actions. However they are not fired and strung out as the President wishes. So instead they will be stuck in this building for the next 8 years. maybe longer if Ruges gets his way.

1:00pm Production of resources in the country are locked down to new changes. The president will adept them to the world climate as he see's fit.

2:00pm The government funded labs for research are given direct paths in which to research. Much of it leaning towards socity and medical pratices.

2:30PM On to the budget. Education and infrastructure fundings are greatly increased. While many other government crutches are cut back. Most notible is the environment, only recieving a fraction of what it once did. Ruges points out that he does not need to spend more tax payer money on this issue when he has a perfectly good legal system that will handle those who purposly wreak the environment.

3:00PM Tax's. I plan to rid this country of its debt. We shall make it so no other country can hold such a thing over our heads. Which means tax's must go up. Now I am not going to raise all taxes Just corporation and high income along with sales. Low income families will acualy recieve a major tax break. My only hope is the people will understand that I am just trying to fix what past presidents have broken.

4:00PM Military, Deploy all units and Move the Atlantic fleet and pacific fleets to San Diago to form a new carrier battle group one which size has never been seen before. Prepare the navl air squadeons down there in preporation to recieve new carriers. Cluster land based fighters at 4 corners the the country and Prepare land units to defend our borders. Also get the bomber group prepared to support ground offensives. And start a production of 27 new B2 bombers.

6:00PM Diplomacy. Lets see who our allies are going tobe. Send out diplomats and ask who wants to be a puppet of the united states.

7:00PM Isreal is the first to accept our offer, followed by Japan, South Korea, Russia, India, United Kingdom, Australia, Ukraine, Thiland, Philipines, Tiawan, And Khazicstan.

8:00pm Transity athourity threw the Panama canal is granted from panama.

China declares war on India, Defense pact initiated. While a direct confortation at this time is not reconmended, 24 C17a's are sent to keep India's front line troops in supply.

North Korea declares war on South Korea, Defense pact initiated, While a direct fonfortation with NK is not needed. Once CBG1 is formed, it will set sail for the sea of Japan in preporations for the defense of SK if it is needed.

China continiues its beligerience, and declares war on Tiawan. US informs Tiawan that no aid is needed as the chinease dont have a bridge to get to you. China also declares war on Laos, cambodia and Vietnam.

Serbia Declares war on Kosovo.

India declares war on Myramar,

Comeroon declares war on Niger.

France allied with Germany and declared war on UK, mutual defense pact initiated. No response from the US as to what response will be taken.

Finland requests and alliance with US, US accepts as they have many of the same allies.

Gift baskets of industrial goods sent to Canada and Mexico.

Isreal declares war on Iraq, Syria, and Saudia Arabia.

Brazil declares war on Bolivia and Venezuala.
Angola continues it war decs on most neighbors and a few other south african countries.

## Jan 19 20 ##
Isreal reports shortage of Petro. US sends Petro, lumber, Water, Military supplies in exchange for military tech.

China is at war with 10 other countries and has no allies.

## Jan 22 20 ##
India delcares war on Afghanistan and bangladesh, Pakistan declares war on India.

Africa is broken out in a continetal war, will ever country at war with somone else in the region. Many people are begining to call this WW3. The only area not affected is the North American region, which many are astonished that the new President has not commited his miltary forces to any of the regeons.

Jan 23-28 20 ## A major tech trade effort by the US began uderway. With giving new techs and recieving a few from its allies. Helping places such as India get better ground forces and places like Japan gain a more modernized navy.

While India was making great strides into China, When Pakistan declared war on them, India was forced into the defensive to prevent Pakistan from pushing inland. And with Russia now puting in a large push in the northern region, 15 C-17's and repositioned from India up to Russia to provide supplies for forward tanks.

Europe is engaging in WW1 style trench warfare with boarders moving back and forth only a few hundred feet on a daily bais's.

Comunications with Africa are scarces as telecom structures are destroyed. The few that exscape there are reporting a sort of zombie like war going on with hordes of axe weilding rebals brutaling dismembering and raping villages and towns as they spread accross the continent.

With allot of supplies and tech from the US, Isreal might be able to hold thier own, but the wars in the area are looking grim.

Isreal declars war on Egypt, Libya inturns declares war on Isreal.

Luxemburg falls to german occupation.

Combodia seeks alliance with US, US accepts with mutual defense.

## Feb 16 20 ##

Turkey declares war on Isreal. More supplies sent to Isreal. over 400B sent so far. New Gas fields, iron mines, Coal mines, Uranium mines begin construction despite environmentalist concerns. Ruges points out that these resources are for the war effort of our country and those of our allies. Media then question if we are at war.

## Mar 7 20 ##

First US casualty. 24 men died when a squadron of C-17 crashed into the ground after running out of fuel while performing joint training missions with Russia in the Eastern Russian provence's. Un confirmed reports show they where flying air supply drops to Russian tanks when the chinease army cut off thier return route, leaving them to circle an open field surrouned by the chinese army.

Mexico raises Defcon to 2. Canada raises Defcon to 1. US raises Defcon to 3. Canada declares war on France.

## May 1 20 ##

US scraps obsolite units. Anything under a tech level of 90 and is not a supply unit will get scraped.

UK rolls into northern france. France becouse squezed from all directions with Switzerland coming in from the east and Spain coming in from the south.

Isreal continues to drain US funds. Over 600B total, Donated to Isreal. However she is holding her own on the ground.


South Korea knocking on Pyongyangs door step. US cancels CBG1 deployment to the strait of Japan.

India continues to harras China, But most of its attack forces are in repair afte conflict with Pakistan. However Iran is fighting Pakistan now so That is releaving some pressure on India.

North Korean leaders are exicuted by South Korean forces. Even thow China and Russia played no active part in the war against NK. They both recieve sizeable chunks of land and units from the former state. In the City of ChoJinin, Chinese and Russian officers take charge of once brother and sister divisions and have them shoot at each other.



Brazil while at war with most of South America, fails to gain or loose much if any ground.

With the US at an increased rediness, along with massive imports, major projects, a higher defcon, and international aid. Income is not rolling as fast as wanted.

After 6 months in office the advisors are pointing out how the world has gone to ****. Ruges points out that is going to plan. Well except for having to fund Isreals war, getting ready to creast $750 Billion.

Loas ask for an alliance with US. US accepts with Mutual defense counter.

US repays its first loan for 659B.
UK moves land forces into mainland europe securing a beachfront in france.
Us moves 8 C-17's to SK to help them clear out china from the korean penensula.

India continues march into China. gaining hundreds of KM of undefended territory.
Long range artilary tech and other military tech is given to Isreal to help in its defense.

Squadrons of aircraft are positioned onto CBG1. Only the two CVN-78's lack the required squadrons to fill thier decks. Will probly wait for the new 117 seahawks before CBG1 sets sail.
SK tops 1,000 kills, with a 10 to 1 kill ratio. China is pushed out of most of the korean penensula.

France request an alliance. US refuses and chuckles at france's soon tobe conqured nation.

## Dec 2020 ##

December was a quite month. The trans alaskan rail and roadway project began, a few minor techs have finished. Russia and china's front lines have gone back and forth countless times with Russia gaining a few feet each time. SK is on a steady advance but mainly stalls when cities are encountered. CBG1 sets sail for the middle of the pacific to test out navl speeds and adjust slower ships ROE speed to match that of the carrier. A massive sell off of military and industrail goods was completed, The market had swelled up to over 500 percent of production costs so both resources where gradualy sold each day to bring the global price to withen 100 percent of production costs. However during this time consumer goods prices fell a little. US repays 3rd loan, making Japan have the largest defciet in the world.

A month and a half after France begs for an alliance, Spanish, Belguim and english troops pour into paris. The remaning ministers have disapeared. Rumers are believed that they have hid in wine cellars thinking it would all go away.

It appears Isreal is at the turning point in its wars. Instead of just defense it is now able to go on the offence. However the US must continue to support Isreal economicaly, financialy, and military designs. Looking at Isreal's borders It appears that Isreal is going to have to fight allot of Garrisons. As countries like Syria, have spawned a set of garrisons for each city, then moved them off the city tile and spawned more garrisons.

US begins sale of Consumer goods at 3 percent below production cost. As china an enemy is most is making to much income in the sector, Hopfully we can hurt China's war effect by doing this.

Consumer goods continue to fall. US sale is now 5 percent below production. This trend looks like it is going to continue. In the mean time sales of Water, Oil, Military goods, and Agriculture will support the US's economy.

With Isreal controlling the golen hieghts. American made tanks controlled by vertan Isreal comanders roll into Amman and surrounding cities. Jorden is fragmented and Isreal reports that thanks to American aid this is all posible.

## April 19 22 ##
***Breaking news*** In a suprize attack Canada declares war on US. Bomber groups A and D deploy to the washington state area and prepare to flaten Vancouver BC. Bomber groups B and C move to prepare to clear route to Ottuman. Ground forces placed at the ready. Defcon raised to 1. THIS IS WAR!!!!

## April 23 22 ##
US forces roll into Canada. A media Black out is in effect. so no video of the acual event is availilable. Canada moves its capital to montreal

## April 25 22 ## Montreal falls Media black out still in effect.

## April 26 22 ## Canada surrenders. Remaing Canadian officials are rounded up and exicuted. Assets are seized and given to the 17,000 soilders that gave thier life defending thier country.

## April 28 22 ## Military Comanders called into white house. A dozen ground commanders are reliefed of comand for failure to prevent losses. Thier lifes are spared as much of the equipment they used was old and out of shape. And the order was to capture canada as quickly as possible. However casualties where allot higher then exspected.

## Jul 4 22 ## US repays bond. Lowers national debt to under 2trillion. China now has a larger debt then US, along with Japan.

## Jul 18 22 ## 12 LHD Wasp's go into production to serve as an amphibious landing platform.

## Aug 17 22 ## Major fighting in europe has ended today with the fall of Germany. Over 1 million german troops died in the process of defending the country.


## Sep 12 22 ## 10 Reprisal class CVN's set sail for the southern coast of California to form CBG2. No escorts have gone into prodcution as of this time.

## Sep 20 22 ## American U-4 AWAX planes cought the remaining Jordan deligates fleeing ruined cities. 10 minutes later Isreali missles took out the convoy containing the deligates. With no political crutchers Isreal claims Jordon's territories for thier own. US sends anouther 200B worth of aid to Isreal with 220B to be paid back over the next 20 years.


## Oct 6 22 ## Iraq push's into the newly gained Isreali territories. Isreal back units sit defending coastal cities while 2 base's are captured. 50 Russian design Cossaks put into production. All other low hold cargo planes scraped.

## Jan 22 23 ## 45 GMT-2 Storm hunters go into production. Design also given to Isreal, India and South Korea. 60 F/A-117N SeaHawks go into production.

## May 27 23 ## 1 Nimitz class carrier transered from CBG1 to AAG1 (Amphibious Assualt Group) to provide a platform from which to launch KS-3 Viking Tankers in Air refueling missions for the 24 CH-53X King Stallions which are already part of AAG1.

## Jun 8 23 ## CBG2 gets a full complement of F/A 117N SeaHawks. A total of 50 squadrons. CBG1 also gets 40 new F/A 117N SeaHawks But retains a few modern planes that it already had on its decks. Older planes are sent to the scrap yard and melted down. CBG1 is now in full working order and sets sail for the East China Sea.


## Jun 18 23 ## Production begins on 12 New South Dakota class SSBN's. Also into production are 240 Nuclear tiped Tridant 1's.

## Jun 23 23 ## Saudia Arabia reports its economy has collapsed and will not be able to make the loan repayments it promissed. Saudia Arabia goes into debt. Interest on the debt goes up to 28B anualy. Saudia Arabia is forced to lower defcon level. Isreal takes advantage of the weakend isreal and mounts an offensive. However Iraqs enginier brigades still pose a problem for even Isreals greatest weapon the GMT2 tank.

## Aug 4 23 ## In a suprize announcment Omen has declared war on Isreal. CB was only raised to 59 percent. So this is not enough for the US to act upon. However the threat assesment to Isreal from Omen is almost nill, So there is no need to invoke the Defense pact.

##Aug 8 23 ## China excedes 1 million military casualties. Military report released:


##Aug 17 23 ## Constuction began on 20 Missle defense satilites. Coite D voire conqured the centreal african country of Bukina Faso today. No news on the living conditions in the area as there has been a media black out.

##Aug 23 23 ## Media caught wind that a research team in the New Mexico desert has begun research on Human Cloning. Protests break out in several towns near the research facility.

## Sept 14 23 ## AAG1 perform air refueling exercies out in pacific to see how the King stallion and Viking tanker work togeather. Practicing fuel conservation, the King Stallion has a BINGO distance of 630KM. Staging the Viking tanker at 600KM. The King Stallion will have an effective air drop distance of 1200KM. So in total AAG1 will have the ability to shore deploy 1,200,000t of units. and the ability to Air drop 7,300t up to 1200KM inland. As for the exact makeup of the troops tobe stationed on AAG1 it is still tobe determined. However It is believed that GMT2 tanks, FARP transports, Enginiers, XAV, Green beret's 2, and Russian made 9k58 Artilary will be the bulk of the ground forces.

## Mar 24 ## 45 More Green Berets 2's go into production.

Over all its been a pretty quite year. Elections are coming soon so the US will not be starting any wars. I have also raised a bit of social spending and lowered taxes a tad. ABG5 and 6 are almost ready. And there is talk about sending them to South Korea to begin support of my allies in the region against China. however without AAG1 or 2 prepared for such actions there is still debate on whether this is the right step at this time. I will probly end up holding off till some XAV's and Thels can be added to AAG1's assets.

As for the rest of the world. Brazil is doing nothing. Isreal is only holding its own ground. Khazikstan, and laos are puting a small dent into China. While Russia has done nothing. South Korea does small advances and then falls back one they hit the wall of garrisons. Japan has a huge military force that just sits there. (I wish they would atleast take thier airforce and wreak some havoc on China, Or may thier navy). Europe is all quite except they still have a raised defcon level. Africa is still at many small conflicts but not a whole lot is coming out of it. But all in all it feels like the world has entered an impass.

Oil is down to $162 per barrel. Consumer goods are down in the $23k range. Military goods are down to $43K.
