Qatar in the mideast campaign.

I'm slowly building up that region.
Everything goes fine and i can maintain my treasury round the
100M.I'm selfsufficient for my C-I and MGoods and a daily budget
trade of 30M

Suddently i'm diving 400M into the red: my minister has imported
for apx 500M MGoods....
Almost immediatly leading to a econ crash....

Isn't this not a little bit extreme and are there no program limitations
to prevent this kind of happenings... ???

BTW it would be nice when your minister sees an opportunity like this
he would first recommend you by mail...

Damn it happend again... and it seems to be something different.. :-?

It happens after accepting a WM-offer.In both cases it was a set
of AA units.
The units are unsupplied if you recieve them so they need some Mgoods.
In this case 5 x MIM-23 Hawks with a supply of 155 units = 775 units Mgoods.
However my demand of Mgoods immedialtly after accepting raised to 3500 .
Am i missing something or is this a bug... :-?

Qatar is a very fun region to play.
BUT since i almost NEVER allow my "ministers" access to the treasury, i cant really help you here. Sorry.

My advice ? Turn off the autobuy, never ever ever allow your ministers too spend YOUR money.

tkobo,
You and me both don't let our ministers do silly stuff. That autobuy feature is the bane of the AI's because they always end up having to use it and then there's profit opportunities a plenty for conniving humans. Sounds like the program annualized that single event into something that would happen everyday throughout the year and hence a big buy from the autobuy.
Thanks,
