When you set a patroling air unit to a different speed in the roe,it only perfroms at that speed til it starts the next leg of the patrol.It holds the setting,but act under normal movement speed,after it completes the leg ot the patrol the setting was changed during.

Do they ? i never noticed.That would explain it.id still rather they didnt when i set another speed in the ROE though for the unit.

Well i've only noticed it with air units and just assumed it was to conserve fuel.

It makes sense,your probably right.
But id still rather when ive locked the AI out and/or given it specific roe settings,that it follows them
