Did a bit more digging. I think I last touched that entry 5 years ago so had to think about all that. Don't remember what torpedo was supposed to go 50km, but the US mark 48 goes 40km. The Perth is an old US Adams class but that only took mark 46s so should get 10kms I suppose. It is currently set to 50km in the database, not > 50km

I thought we where looking for ones where they where/where not incorrectly assigned helicopters, not incorrect torpedo ranges?

This is all a "tempest in a teapot" - SR2020 subs are just dumb ducks that sit in port all of the time. Their only valid role is to defend their port from attacking naval units. And most of them are guarding ports that no one wants to take.

I have stopped building submarines or any ASW forces altogether. I play the U.S. and they start out with plenty. I have never used any of the dozens of ASW helos that I start the game with.

In my first SR2020 World 2020 game I carefully equipped each of my major U.S. ports with dedicated ASW carriers. Boy, was that a stupid move!

When was the last time in SR2020 that you encountered an enemy submarine outside the safe boundries of its territorial waters? When was the last time that you saw an enemy SR2020 submarine even move? It is like they are welded to the pier...

Actually the Perth class was equiped with the Ikara ASW system with a range of 19km for its torpedos.

I was just playing as Portugal and traded with Italy for the Vittorio Vento class CG and noticed that it carries 8 sqn of helo's not the AB 212 ASW helo's that it carries in reality.

Just found that MiG-21 Farmer-D has no mesh connected, unit is "invisible" on the map.
This might be fixed whenever some units will be reviewed, but maybe someone can guide me how to tweak the default.unit to implement any of the jet meshes?

This would be the case, if the helo is making a one way trip :)
You bring up a good point though. I think it would be neat to see a little mini-helo pop out of the ship when it goes to attack, but I know that would be really hard to make

With the new game coming out will you have the correct range on all of the Leander's and sub-varriants?

I thought I had made a reference to the Leander class earlier, anyway BG has the range down in nm's instead of km's and considering this was a major class of frigate I thought you should know.

Chris it's been over a week and I have not even recieved a monocum of a response on this isue, I've given you most of the post on the Leander class! Have you been playing ball with your son/s again? My daughter make me play princess andd the dragon with them! And by the way I was a RS2 during the Cold War, this is my specialty!

I'm not sure what response you're looking for. You asked if it would be fixed for Cold War. You've provided links. I've made note of it.

I have not worked on units at all this week so it's not fixed yet but the game's not done yet...
