Peace bug?

begin Argentina i was at war with brazil, in the diplomacy menu i offered peace for nothing and they accepted, now we are at peace, but if i offer peace for peace they said NO! ¿? and now, we cant trade nothing, because no options appear in the menu, the game think they are at war with me but no militar action occurred in two years

I think if one side just agrees to peace the game treats it like an uneasy ceasefire or something...not 100% sure though, but that would explain why you can't trade.

If you give peace but do not ask for it in return, then you begin taking "neutral fire". They are still at war with you so you may want to return the favor.
