After I applied the patch 6.6.2 GC loads up wierd. The screens seem to be to big for my screen. I can't see the edges of the game. So I cannot create games change options etc. Help would be very much appreiciated

Trying to run in windowed mode and use too big resolution?

The Resolution is set to 1440x900 but everything looks like it is fat and big like it is in lower res but i cannot see the entire screen. So I create a game and all I see is some of the stuff. Don't know if this helps but I'll try it

Try this...

Windows key+r for the run prompt. Type "regedit" without the double quotes. Next go to HKEY CURRENT USER--->software--->Battlegoat--->Supreme Ruler. Next look at the 2 files:

Gamerezx
Gamerezy

Right click and modifiy, select decimal and not hexadecimal. See if those match the screen res you set before 1440x900. If not set them in there, and try a new game.

lol i guess before I uninstalled it i should have made sure i still had my cd key =/ friend said he would give me his other key so i'm waiting on him

is this a desktop with monitor running @ 1440x900?

Yea I have tried redeuceing my res lower to see if that works. I'm on vista Acer Aspire ASE380 don't know if that matters.

in game can you get to the settings for the screen resolution and for windowed mode? Try setting it to 1024x768 windowed test if that works properly.

I can select windowed mode and it will play windowed but same thing happens, but i can't reach resolution to set it.

I did not know this and i have found the other registry and fix it thx.
