Have you tried a translation program on the wiki too see if you understand it better?

There are no guarantees with internet translation programs because for true translations you need in-depth knowledge of both languages, which is something very hard to program and get right 100%

If it made no sense, all you had to say was it didn't help and left it at that, no need to go into a rant
You've got quite a few of us trying to help you figure out what's wrong

Baltic, I don't think the suggestion was for you to post here in Russian and we translate, we suggested you try and translate to Russian what is on the wiki

You STILL did not answer the question I asked;

1. Did you modified the existing .UNIT file or did you made a new one?

You keep answering with single sentences, ignore some of the questions given and not giving enough information.

i build a cache but didnt work once i added the new cache to the game that the probem and i went by wiki thing exactly and it didnt work

2. What do you mean by "it didn't work"?

NOTE: I have numbered the two questions I have asked you. If you do not provide an answer to question #1 and to question #2 I will abandon any further attempts to assist you.

A simple yes or no question to be sure I have understood you;

You made changes to the Default.UNIT file and then made a cache file successfully.

(1.) Is that correct?

If the answer is yes, then (2.)which cache file did you make? (3.)What was the name of the Scenario or Campaign for which you remade the cache?

Bottom line is that if it didn't work, you made a mistake somewhere. Lots of people have done this successfully.

-----------

I need answers to #1, #2 and #3.

So you have a file called Prussia.scenario located in the folder /CampaignGC?

Please upload or e-mail me that file.

yes i made the changed...

That is your problem. Here is what your .scenario file says;
Quote:
#ifset 0x02
#include "DEFAULT.UNIT", "MAPS\DATA\"
#include "MYMOD.UNIT", "MAPS\DATA\"
#include "DEFAULT.PPLX", "MAPS\DATA\"
#include "DEFAULT.TTRX", "MAPS\DATA\"

And on the wiki the instructions are;

Quote:
The .UNIT file to be used is specified in the .Scenario file for a given map. To use a custom equipment file, simple adjust the filename and location of the #include command to match your custom file name/location.

So obviously if you change the DEFAULT.UNIT but your scenario is using MYMOD.UNIT it's not going to work.

So while you were getting upset at us, you could have solved your own problem if you took the time to reread the instructions and double check your files.

You told me you edited the DEFAULT.UNIT.

The instructions say quite clearly to "adjust the filename and location of the #include command to match your custom file name/location."

So the your .scenario file should look like this;

Quote:
#ifset 0x02
#include "DEFAULT.UNIT", "MAPS\DATA\"
#include "DEFAULT.UNIT", "MAPS\DATA\"
#include "DEFAULT.PPLX", "MAPS\DATA\"
#include "DEFAULT.TTRX", "MAPS\DATA\"

It does not say anything about deleting a .UNIT file.

I need to know (1.) what is the name of the .UNIT file you want to use.

----------

I need question #1 answered.

just please reread, take your time. If you rush you waste my time and yours.

So, you now have Prussia.Scenario that points to MYMOD.UNIT. Have you tried rebuilding that cache now?
