Contry letters in Equip file?

I was wondering if is possible to assign more letters to the equip file, to add more manufacturer countries. I know is possible to assign unnused letters (like P, X) but is possible add more countries between Z and * ?

Yea there are a couple characters that are unused as well. check the wiki and the forums for them. I think they are posted in both locations.
