I cannot seem to find the answer to this question. I would like to mod this mod to include the leader profiles of the mod "Modern Day Campaign". Any ideas of how to do this? I tried to mod it myself, but was unsuccessful.

Say, I've heard (well, read) good things about this mod. Is there an overview of some kind about what exactly it does?

Lets see what to say about this version of the mod. I kinda did away with the old list of changes as it was not very well organized. And this mod has been over a year and a half in creation. Many late night hours sceaming how I could make the game better, more enjoyable. And the recent patches that BG has included, just make the game that much better and makes the mod really stand out. A game that is playable now. Somthing that I want to go online and play with others. And soon as I get home I plan on playing a few rounds online so hope to see you there. But anyways I hope you guys enjoy the mod, I know I will. A word of advice make your allies early, and depending on who they are prepare to defend, or assit them. It gets pretty bloody in the first year of the game. I have also included in this version all my moded files. If you wish to use them for other purposes please ask first.

Off the top of my head the changes are:
AI Changes:
Adjusted AI, it will call different units, units that I feel they should call to in different situations. This will cause the AI to use more of its units rather then having them sit around doing nothing. By doing this I also had to change what they decide to build, one of which is more transport planes and ships. The AI looses allot of these. but it needs these units to perform amphib, and airborne assualts, along with supply its out of supply units. You will really be able to notice a difference with the changes I have made here. BG has even incorperated some of the changes in there recent patch.

Map changes:
Added a new map feature called ferries. These are basicaly invisable bridges. They are placed at certain locations around the map that the AI was having problems with. I also added supply depots at area's around the map, this will also help the AI in certain locations around the map. Research facilities where also added, becouse of the increased amount of tech there is, there is more to research, so countries require more research facilities. I also added some other stuff such as barracks, airfields, sea piers military complexes where players have sugested.

Treaty changes:
I have enabled some of the other treaties that BG had disabled. while they dont have a true effect on the game, They will add to relations. and I am asuming with the new 3rd party relations effects now in, they should also add to the gameplay. Mutual defense was bundled in with the alliance treaty. This will help countries in choosing sides of wars.

Relations changes:
Tons of stuff done here to many to list. and you will see what they are ingame.

Unit changes:
All ground except AA have had there AA attack severly lowered. This should cause them to no longer act as an air defense network, that is what AA units are for. Tanks have had there hard attack and hard defenses increased. This should make tanks more useful on the map. Missles have had there defenses greatly increased, This should cause them to not get shot down by garrison stacks as much. Core structures have had there defenses increased. This will cause the outside stuctures to be destroyed way before the center one is. And with the new changes of outside ones pop when the center gets destroyed will make this one very likable. However I also made a change that many will not like. I increased the build times on structures. while many will not like this change i feel it makes the game more complete. If you want the Nuclear reactor built, no longer are you going todo it in 3 months. its going to take 2 years like it should. The added time does not only represent build time, but also the time it takes to plan and gather the resources to build it. Enginiers can always be used to speed this time up. This change will also make it so you have to plan ahead, and give a more equal footing with the AI and player. Uranium production and price was increased. there was huge shortages of Uranium so the changes I made are to offset this. Even still if somone does not start pumping out some uranium mines the price will sky rocket (Canada likes the price high). Plus almost 900 new units have been added bringing the top end tech line up to TL 200.

Other Changes: I have forgotten all I have done in this mod. I have been working on it what the last 2 years? So there might be some stuff that I am forgeting to mention here.

Tech Changes:
300 new techs have been added. bringing the top end of the tech line up to TL 200. Your probly not going to get to the endgame stuff in a typical game. Also changed where a few nuke techs prereqs.

I noticed something strange today. After loading my game and playing for an ingame day or two six regions fell within one day. Granted, some of them were hard pressed to begin with, but at least two were still standing strong - at least stronger than any regions I had seen falling before.

Is this a (known?) bug of some sort or just a huge coincidence?

EDIT: Ok, now it's 13 regions within one day. Definetly not a coincidence.

EDIT2: Happens every time I load said savegame.

It's 6.8.1 and I usually start it via Steam. Started it via the exe in the game folder, reset my options: same result after loading the game.

I already played as Israel and had no problems, then tried my luck as Germany with the above mentioned problems. Since then I started a game as South Africa and after quitting and loading again for the first time the problems appeared there as well.
