Un kicked almost everyone out
Hello, in my current game, there is only one country, South Korea, that is still in the U.N. As it happens that is the one country I have 100% CB against. Has anyone ever seen this?
How does this affect the markets. Apparently you cannot trade with someone not in the U.N. But if no one is in the UN and there is no way to get back into it.. what to do? Suggestions.

Had the same situation, in my current game I've wagged war towards some Central American states and it seems the virtually every nation in the game has been kicked out by the UN.
My game settings are, Diplomacy: Very Hard, Military: Very Hard, Domestic: Normal.

If your country have more than 1/2 off the world-population, it happens pretty often. But in this case, its just another disatvantage for the AI.
Your are on the right way, just conquer the remaining nations and unite the world under your flagg.

I dont think ive noticed that.
It would be very cool, if at some point in which membership fell to low, the U.N. disbanded...
Heck, i suspect a few of us would shoot for this goal

I do not share your enthusiasm here...tkobo wrote: It would be very cool, if at some point in which membership fell to low, the U.N. disbanded...

(but ingame it would be cool, for sure)

Happened to me too. This is very strange...
My settings are: military, very hard; diplo, normal; economy, very hard.
The more strange is that most of the countries that are out, are in peace since the beginning of the game (almost all Western Europe) and many African countries.

Re: Un kicked almost everyone out
It could be that they got kicked for remianing peaceful.
For instance,if they allied with a bunch of regions who than went to war, and than they didnt live up to their treaties, they take a hit on diplo, treaty integrity, and U.N. rep for each one.
That could all add up enough to get them booted...
Now im not stating this is whats happening, but it well could be the case.

Sounds right in the first moment. But its not the only factor. Even if you play the Bad Boy and never declare war, never trigger a "iam under attack, please join this war" for any Ai nation, the UN dissolved over time.
If there is only one Nation left in the UN, it is allways a "Bad Boy" (North Korea, human player etc.)
Maybe its just the money. Befoe a AI Nation run bankrupt, the AI tries to reduce its expenses. Some social expenses influance the UN-relations. After the first nations are kicked out, the amount for every next staate bond decrease, so all AI nations left in the UN have to spare more money.
