I just read through most of this thread and since you've all been discussing adding new fictional Battleships, I think it would be appropriate to consider adding an upgraded Iowa. Possibly one that adds anti-sub capability, for example.
This thread is in the 2020 forum, but it says the last post was in 2006? Anyway, it seems to still apply to the SR 2020 demo. My full version hasn't arrived in the mail yet.

WEll looking at your battle ships designs, and having played with them abit.
I now use them as a primary anti missle and plane defence, since they have that nice and high combat time, PLUS they have that wicked High damage in the higher( space) level, meaning high spaceplanes can't really be around them for long.
