Enemy Aircrafts Flying with Zero Strenght

If I destroy an airfield which hosts grounded airplane units, as soon as the airfield is gone, the airplanes will take off and fly normally, encircling the hex but with ZERO strength. I mean, how's that possible? shouldn't they go away with the airfield?

Do you have a savegame from before you destroy the airbase? I've not heard of an issue like this before.

Not really. I always save over the previous saved game. As soon as I get to destroy a populated airfield, I'll send it to you.

k, that looks like an error. I'll check the e-mails when I'm in the office tomorrow.

Okay, I got the save. We'll try and reproduce this error in SR-CW to see if it a bug that still needs fixing. Don't have a solution for SR2020 though.
