Hi,

Russia and I have had a falling out, and I'm going to invade from the north.

The strategy is (was) as follows;

1. Ship small number of troops to northern Island
2. Set up a camp by building land/naval/air construction facilities
3. Invade from the north

You can see what I mean in the image below.

However, now that I've gotten up there, there are no supplies whatsoever. I can't even build a supply depot.

To remedy this, I tried attacking the Russian mainland just S of the Islands, but same problem.

Is there any way to ship mass amounts of resources up to the Islands so I can begin construction of the facilities?

Though I should note that I tried sending engineers to no avail! Forgot to mention that. Had them put on the hex, ordered to Construction, but still the facilities are not being repaired (formerly used by Russia - bombed to hell by me).

It might be my game version? I'm running 6.6.2 (so I can use the trainer.. don't judge me! was to alleviate low election results) so I'm updating to the latest and maybe that'll fix it.

Any trainers that are usable in newest version?

If I am seeing that picture corrrectly, is there not a Russian Air Base on that island? Belushy A Guba? Is that what you are trying to rebuild?

Yes, that's the very one. Updated to latest version, sent 3x engineers to 'construction' on that hex, and it's been at 67 days to rebuild for about 6 months, now.

I am stumped. Assuming you have money and the resources to repair the facility I cannot offer any other advice, except to suggest it has something to do with the trainer or the version you are using? I have never used a trainer so I do not know anything about how it does or does not modify/conflict with the game.

I do not think this is a engineer issue, since a facility should repair when you capture it. What % is it at when you look a the details?


Having typed that, be it known I have never actually used Engineers to construct a facility in a out of supply area. Never had a need to, but over the years I have read multiple threads on these forums that suggest it does work. I may have to try it one day.


Hopefully Ruges or some other knowledgeable person will respond.

Thanks for the offer, but the problem has been solved. Norway joined in the fight, rushed to Moscow, Russia fell.

Does not solve the problem though. If you have a legitimate issue plesae send it in, it might be something they find and can fix, so that no one else has the issue.
