is there anyway to view the tech report before you add a unit to your research list?

and before you build 1?

Double click the design, the tech readout will pop up.

hi thanks that works great in the research any way to to it while trading? double clicking just adds it to the trade

I have complained about the inability to see the stats of a unit when its in trade, specificlly when the UN or another country offers you the trade. (thread on here about it somewhere) There is no way to open the tech data while in trade.

The only way I have come up with to see the data on other units is to find one of those units on the map, click on the hex it is in, open the Land window from the radial dial on lower left, Then choose Military Presence Tab. The unit in question should be displayed there and you can double click it to get the stats readout.

I know this helps you not during a trade, but there is no other way that I know of or I have read of. This really only helps you when you are asking for a unit and you can find one on the map prior to purchase.
