At the end of a war, I like to take a look at my units. Those that have one "kill" I rename "Guards" per the old Soviet practice. Those that have two "kills" get renamed "Shock," again, per the old Soviet practice.

Does anybody else do this or something similar? It's very geeky, i know... :lol:

I'd rather rename battle groups because there are too many units. I once renamed favorite ones, which I used to move them into every battle even after they're absosete, as "legendary fighters".

I will name battlegroups at sea, (Pacific Fleet, Med Fleet, etc), but that's about it.
