Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
i believe the buttons need to be swapped. when autodeploy is on, units are builded continiously. when continuous is on, units are autodeployed. you might not have noticed this if you click both of the buttons. please try with a conscript unit (quite fast to build), and tell us what happens...

I've added the links to both hotfixes in the known issues thread.

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
My game is updated to 5.2.1 and I've installed both of the hotfixes but the autodeploy and build continuously buttons are still not working right. The build continuously button functions as the autodeploy button and vice versa. Any thoughts? Thx.

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
I believe those hotfixes included in update 2.
The buttons should be greyed out when deactivated. They will not effect units in queue. If the units were queued up when those 2 are activeated, you will need to clear the queue to get rid of the effect.
The buttons will be activated when loading a savegame.

They need to be deactivated by default.

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
This problem has nothing to do with units already in the queue. The buttons are actually working fine except for the fact that they are switched. Turning off the build continuously button (greyed out) and leaving on the auto deploy button results in the unit being placed in the reserves (instead of being auto deployed) and another unit automatically placed in the queue. If you leave on the build continuously button and turn off the auto deploy button then a unit, when built, will be auto deployed and another unit of the same type will not be auto queued.
Here is what I do:
1. Start game
2. Select single player
3. Select scenario (i.e. World 2020 - No Units - USA)
4. Lock out all ministers
5. Select Defense dept.
6. Select Fabrication sub-dept.
7. Select one of my military complexes with a barracks
8. Turn off build continuously
9. Leave on auto deploy
10. Select infantry
11. Select conscript
12. Select build unit
13. Unpause the game
Result = 6 days later unit is built and placed in reserves when it should be auto deployed. Another conscript is automatically added to the queue when it shouldn't be.
Could someone please duplicate this and then confirm the problem? It's not really a big deal and I can play around it but I thought maybe the developers could eventually fix this. That's all. Thx.

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
Okay, as part of my testing today, I did specifically find that the Autodeploy and the Build Continuously buttons are reversed. There is a bug thread about this and I will be posting a hotfix for it tonight/tomorrow. It seems each time I tested them I must have tested them together, my bad...

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
Thanks so much for the prompt response. I spent a couple hours the other night trying to figure out what was going on with these buttons, then I found this thread. I soon after discovered that the OP was correct. I can see how testing these buttons with them both on or both off wouldn't reveal the problem.
I haven't played the game extensively yet but so far I'm really enjoying it. Excellent job!
P.S. I love the forums but don't post much so I'd like to take the opportunity to put in my request for a more aggressive AI (buildings and military) including overseas invasions.
Thanks Battlegoat!

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
k, I've got the hotfix available download here
Simply put the contents of the zip file into your /Supreme Ruler 2020 directory and the buttons will be flipped the right way (picture is the same, function was flipped)

Re: Autodeploy and Build Continuously...
could you maybe make a sticky thread about hotfixes? where you can put all of them(if any more will be made) in just 1 list for us to download
when update 3 is out, the list will be empty again(assuming hotfixes go into any next patch) and you simply provide again the new hotfixes in that thread...
