Blog: Report from the Leipzig Game Convention
Turns out George posted a new blog on Monday. His linked photo album has some interesting/bleak/accurate comments on the popular gaming market.

About what i expected to see.
And i think BG should pursue a re-release when they own the rights .From my perspective, sr is a classic for its audience group, and that audience has deffinately not all tried the game yet.
So while i dont think you'll see an amazing upturn in sales, i do think you'll pick up more people who will see it for the classic it is, and the slow build to a more solid sized customer base will be helped along.
One thing i did see in the pics that kinda of suprised me, was the amount of young men not only playing/ paying attention too games i would think of as "kiddie", but to games i would think of as "meant for the fairer sex" also.
I now have to wonder how many "men" bought the barbie and little pony pc games --em/ shudder

Seems the conference was a mismatch for BG -- not exactly catering to their customer base, but rather to the glitzy console crowd. I seriously doubt that anyone interested in a kareokee game could understand the rules for SR2020, unless it was tokbo singing "The Wind Beneath my Wings" while moving his uberstacks of B52's.
Regards,
Feltan
P.S. Did BG collect any demographics or business intel on who purchased SR2010?
