This thread is being created now because some comments are already coming up about things that would be useful to test in the beta. The thread will be locked but we will update it with new tasks as they come up. Each task will be linked to a thread where it can be discussed.

Diplomacy


Logical results/feedback from diplomatic actions/relations - Discuss

Core Mechanics

Civilian Casualties and how they are totaled (city bombarded by you as you capture it, your casualties or the other guys?) - Discuss

Unit Balance and Control

Heavy bombers vs ships - Discuss

Battalion size affect on stats - Discuss

Class vs. Class and Country vs. Country balance - Discuss

Unit Stealth balance - Discuss

AA effectivness - Discuss

Unit Surrender model - Discuss

Engineer combat effectivness compared to other infantry - Discuss

Helicopter attack and defense values - Discuss

Unit movement related to fording/capturing airstrips - Discuss

Helicopter movement rules - should they stay or go? - Discuss

Helicopter movement rules - should move off airfields to allow fixed wing to land - Discuss

Country Management

Migration system properly closed - Discuss

Do countires properly understand potential to produce for export?

Do Synthetic Petrol Nodes imbalance the game by making resource based Petrol unnecessary? - Discuss

Can the economy be broken? (referred to as escape velocity)

Does the economic model sufficently represent commodity markets? What occurs when you lose/gain a large quanty of industry and populaiton through acts of war? - Discuss

Historical Bugs

Retest any unlocked bugs from SR2010 to be sure they have been fixed/reworked.
