Yea, the spot where they would be built and launched. and the control center.

Not a problem.

I went through the list of of countries operating satallites and the good news is that we can eliminate 24 of them.

Poland, Bulgarian and Czech Republic use Soviet built INTERCOSMOS satallites.
Kazakhstan uses an Italian Alenia Spazio satallite.
Belarus uses a Russian Energiya satallite.
Venezuela uses a PRC CASC satallite.
Philippines use US Space Systems/Lora 1 satallites.
Egypt, Morocco, and Greece use German DLR/Astrium satallites.
Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Norway, UAE, and Indonesia use US Boeing (Hughes) satallites.
Luxembourg, Portugal, Chile, Algeria and Nigeria use British SSTL satellites.
Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam use US Lockheed-Martin satellites.

These nations currently do not have the ability to build or launch any satallites, both Chile and Malaysia have plans to develope an indiginous satallite program but do not currently have the technollogy.

Thanks ;) Shame Papa Wiki is not so trustwhorty after all =/ It's edited.

I'm sorry for the delay, my father is in the hospital.

The UK has satellite a production facillity at Guildford (x:816,y:148) in Surrey built by Surrey Satellite Technology, but launched in Australia at the Woomera Launch Area (x:1638, y:568), SA by the Defence Science & Technology Organization (DSTO) and traced by the JDF (Joint Defence Facility) Pine Gap (x:1629, y:530), RAAF Learmonth (x:1512, y:524) and RAF Menwith Hill/RAF Leeming (x:808, y:130).

Ruges most satellites are built in one spot, the launch vehicle in another and then they are brought together at the launch site and fired into orbit. I can get you more info on this if you and Balthagor need it.

For satellites I think the main problem is that satellites should be manufactured like units, in other words each aeronautical fabricator should be able to build at least one satellite at a time like the other fabrication buildings. So if you wanted to build 20 satellite fabs and spam the sky with sats you could. Similarly you should be able to launch at least 1 satellite per day per launch pad, but currently you can't. As a result the extra facilities should just be scrapped if you're playing someone like the USA or Russia or China.

What is this all about?

I was told that the AI was incapable of building and launching any type of satellites, especially anti-ICBM ones.

So what is this about? If a player plays Russia as its region can Russian not launch satellites? Or are you discussing some way to enable AI regions to intelligently exploit satellite technology?

Or is this about furnishing sat launch facilities to regions that should be able to construct them but can't?

Just improving the database.
