Request "remove garrisions"
Moin,
once upon the time, you noticed teh demand for a better garrision control. I can give the order to decrease garrisions. But i dont know what is happen than. I have this allways active, and no garrision seems to disappear. My minister only dont deploy new garrisions.
I want a order "remove all garrisions".
Delete them manually is the biggest micromanagement part in the game.

What I do is just lock the minister out of garrison deployment, and deploy them manually as I need them. But, clearing out the garrisons of conquered countries is tedious work, and this order would be useful.

User set functions to set garrisons to X amount per structor type, i.e. military, civ, industry, ocean, click BOOM!

Seems a very good idea to me, especially if you could manually alter individual sites once the global settings are made.Mouser010 wrote:User set functions to set garrisons to X amount per structor type, i.e. military, civ, industry, ocean, click BOOM!

Re: Request "remove garrisions"
i think there should be also an replace button, in case you want to garrison you city whith something else the the garrison units and put in tanks, aritillery, mec infantry etc instead of foot soldiers

That gets way more complicated and won't be possible for SR2020.Hullu Hevonen wrote:i think there should be also an replace button, in case you want to garrison you city whith something else the the garrison units and put in tanks, aritillery, mec infantry etc instead of foot soldiers
We can keep it in mind for future development...

You can still garrison towns with whatever you want in the way of active units, which takes account for activity way over the usual in the area.
I don't see the need for complicating the way garrisons work, particularly as in most cases they'll be defending some out of the way posting and in that case most likely foot soldiers/paramilitaries/gendarmerie anyway.
