OK, this is silly and frivilous. I make no apologies. Sometimes you need an idea that is just whimsical.
But, I would almost guarentee you would read about this in any review of SR2020 in the trade rags.
My idea is for a scenario. It would take about two minutes to play.
The Scenario is called: Nuke your boss.
When a user selects the scenario, a screen comes up asking for a "Name" which the user would type in.
The map would be of a single hex island in an all ocean map. An icon on the island would be of a, say, clown that is waving like an idiot with "Name" above the icon.
A few hexes away is a fully loaded SSBN. The only other unique thing would be a large red button instead of normal controls.
The user clicks on the button. No launch codes. To the strain of the William Tell Overature about a dozen ICBMs launch on the island with a series of mushroom clouds wiping out the icon.
End of scenario.
Now how is that for an idea with absolutely no socially redeeming value.
