Yeah, I'm a superpower 2 fan, who found out about supreme ruler 2020

And I got two questions, which I found no answer too while reading trough these forum pages.

1. Will there be Online Multiplayer?
2. Will game be open-ended? aka never ending?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

1. You can connect to other players for multiplayer internet games, but there are not dedicated servers. We simply don't have that kind of infrastructure available.

2. Yes, that is one of the possible Sandbox settings for a scenario; end date = none.

Yes.SR2010 does, i see no reason they would remove it for sr2020.course i see little to no reason why they havent changed the defection system either

2. Will game be open-ended? aka never ending?Well, we all (including our world itself ) will die at some point and thereby have to cease playing.Soooo i feel confident i can say no about it being never ending.
BUT as far as a scenario ending on a preset end date,i believe there will be some with set end dates, and some without.
Of those with, i suspect some will have settings that allow you to chnage or remove the end date.
Sooooo i think youll find a bunch of scenarios that are open-ended as far as gameplay time goes. Sandbox ,being the " world map" will be one of those that will be open-ended.

So, is there some kind of "lobby" where you can see all ongoing games?

Also, is it possible to trade/sell old units? To other countries/players?

And Superpower 2 is and was a great game. Soo many houres spent playing that online. It's not the game itself, but the "feeling" with realistic players who role-played their countries so well

I just want to play online with realistic players, trading, solving conflicts etc.

I cant say.There was in sr2010, BUT theyve said they were changing how muli worked,soooooo......you'll have to wait for a dev to come by.Shouldnt be long, they have more posts than any dev ive ever seen before.
