QUestion about elections

When do the elections in the game take place, as I am very curious? Every 4 years or so?
Because I want a certain country (Japan), which by default in teh GlobalCrisis is a dem.; to become a dictatorship.

Thank you for this question. Now I have another one, in version 6.8.1; the cheat "endday" is not doing anything when I type it! I wanted to skip right up to 4 years later to have the elections to become dictator!
Takes too long, so do you have a solution for this bug I found?

Not me. I have never used any of the cheats so I have no idea about them. Maybe someone that does know will respond.

You can mod Japan to start out as a dictatorship. I can't personally help you with this, as I am currently researching the method myself. But maybe that's what you should ask for help on.

how do you change japan from a dem to a dictatorship? ive been playing as russia and would like to be able to do that also
