Re: Los Links! (To Tutorials Videos and Texts)
As far as bookmarking "armies" to 1-10? Yes I have started doing that. It makes it simpler to deploy them like that.
As for the shift click pop up boxes. I wasn't aware of that, or perhaps the difference, until you pointed it out just now.
I like the quickness of the *Hold* shift down and left click. Its nice when you know you want to move all of the units within that stack.
I like the left click option as well if I have different units piled into a stack and I'm wanting to pull up the pop up box and *Hold* Ctrl and select the units from there.
Now that I know this I will use it a lot more!
Don't worry about hijacking the thread. Does the forum have like "unlisted features" faq or whatever post? If not we could always turn this one into something like that and Sticky/Wiki it. Works for me!
Gotta go Mexico is apparently wanting to rattle a few sabers in my direction. Remember the Alamo!

Re: Los Links! (To Tutorials Videos and Texts)
Is there a convenient way to send my troops to one location?
I want them to go to a certain point and gather there to be transported a short distance by my fleet but when ever I order them to move there they move to the end of the green move line in front of them, rather than stacking up and moving around the hex I told them to move to. Is it possible to do this or do I have to go through my 100+ troops individually to do this?

Cheese
1. Select some units.
2. Go to the Unit Command window.
3. Then the Advanced Orders window.
4. Click the, Formation Move off (make sure it is not pressed in).
5. Notice they all got to the same hex.

Re: Los Links! (To Tutorials Videos and Texts)
Ok back again with a new Scenario and new questions. Pretty much I have a short deck carrier (what I call carrier escort.CVE) that also doubles as a transport. I'm going to invade New Brunsweik (Shattered World) with Marines and have some F-22 Lighting VTOL support them. But how do I load the F-22 onto the Carrier? How do I know how many F-22 the Carrier can handle?
I'm also curios how you get an air supply drop running. I have some Osprey that I want to run supplies with to the island how do I set that up. Also how do I set up Mid Air refueling missions?
Getting better at the game the more I play it. I'm finally understanding the purpose of every unit.

To load the carrier with planes just fly them to the carrier, then you can move the carrier and the planes will stay on them.
Edit: nm, I bumped it
Look on your Technical Readout for each carrier type. Several ways to access it, Double clicking in the production area of your fabs will bring up the Readouts for each unit. Once there look for carrier capacity, probally be a number from 1 to 5, holding your cursor over the icon will say what each icon represents. How do I know how many F-22 the Carrier can handle?
They need to fly over or be in the hex a unit is in, or the adjacent hex. Works for all supply types. They will automatically drop supplies at a certain rate, you will have to keep checking to see if they empty. I sometimes let aircraft run thier circle pattern around the units but you can also use the "escort" order to have the aircraft continually fly over the target unit, or you can use an "air patrol" and have them airdrop supplies along a certain path. Speaking of...someone wanna bump that waypoint post ?I'm also curios how you get an air supply drop running.

Actually, a short deck carrier is more like a helicopter carrier or like the British Invincible class carrier. The converted carriers would be accurate to designate as a CVE due to its low load capacity and speed.

Ah yes its the F-35 JSF mistyped. Apparently I can't put them on WASP CVs so I need to make another one. But the WASP can carry an entire Marine Invasion force 22xMarine1/2+10xM1A1 Abrams+3 Hvy supply.

Re: Los Links! (To Tutorials Videos and Texts)
btw: at least in update 7 you can setup rally points for every production building and barrack. That done you dont need to worry about getting your freshly deployed units to the action.
when adding units army groups, select those units to add and press <ctrl>+<shift>+number to add it to its group.

Is there any way to end a war with like return to status quo or whatever. You know so you can be like the world policeman or whatever flying around ending wars and putting things back the way they were before. Just something I was wondering about, not that I don't mind a little aggressive expansion.
