The main website seems to be down.

Any reason 6.5.2 is the only patch available on the GamersGate site? Update 7 is not listed.

EDIT: Oh, I see in the OP about Update 7 being experimental and not fully tested. Is it now safe to consider this the official/unofficial version to be running? Or, should I stick with the official 6.5.2 if I'm just starting out?

I havent seen any reason not to update to 7.

There will be an update 8, it will be a collection of little stuff like stat corrections,could be any day now.

Great thanks for the quick reply and the stats is one of the items I was hoping that they visited for Update 8.

theyve kind of moved on id like the odd bit of additional stuff ingame i guess Cold war might see more expansions
