I ran the install for update 7, but the game still says 6.6.2. I ran it again and it said I have nothing to update. Can anyone help please?

Already did that and ran it. The install is not working.

Try here then, they had some problems the other day too.

Have you tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling?

What about the hotfix - do I need to apply it. And if so, then where and how?

The hotfixes are in the same post as the download link. One is for the Spanish version so you only need it for the Spanish version. Same for the German fix.

To apply a fix, download it and extract it into the game's directory.

any more plans here or are u guys now moving on the cold war version of the game

Generally closed, but we do have some data files that have been updated. Just minor stuff. At some point we'll get it put together but it'll be a while still.
