Questions for 2020 Gold Edition

Hey Team, I've been out of touch for a bit but still around. I have three questions that I hope someone can answer:
1. Is 2020 Gold edition compatible with Windows 7?
2. Do I need to install the latest update or is it included in the game?
3. What are some of the new units added to the game?

Rather than start a new thread, hope you don't mind if I use this one for a similar qustion:

I've been away from SR for a while, too, but do have 2020. My question is, if I buy GC and apply the latest patches, is that the same as buying Gold? Or does Gold add something more?

Its the same.The advantage, if you want to call it that with gold, is you can get a hard copy/boxed copy.GC is digital only.

I've got a question aswell.

I'm pretty confused over what is new in the Gold version, all I'm certain of is that it offers more scenarios.

Does the game has improvements? Such as new/better UI, AI, units, or any other feature or change in game-play. I'm asking that as I was pretty disappointed with the Global Crisis expansion before. Hence that I want to be certain of what I'm going to buy.

The Gold Edition with update 6 is exactly the same as SR2020+Global Crisis with update 6.

Once you have update 6, they are identical, even the scenarios are the same.
