Resetting a hot economy - is it possible?

Post by Gonzodave »

By setting tax to 100%, cutting research and social services to 0, deactivating all my industry, nuking the WM to kill my subsidy and putting the markup to maximum, I've managed to get North Korea's GDP down to $7m from $50m. Problem is, as soon as it gets to $7m it bounces back up. Is there any way I can get it lower?

I think there is a limit on how low the GDP for a country goes.

Why do you want your GDP so low?

That's $7m p/c. If I leave it at that level eventually the economy of the scenario screws up.

Sounds like the bug.
Once it starts, i dont believe you can stop it.

The next patch is supposed to have a fix in it that stops this run away economy by preventing the issue ,thereby preventing the soon to follow bug.
