import export demand usage

Post by kmirsaeidi »

hi,
here is something that doesn't make sense to me, I would appericiate some help:

For example: Coal

Capacity: 2,345,679
Production: 2,345,679
Demand: 3,872,114
Actual Usage: 3,872,114

and then when I go to the daily trade stats page I see:

Coal: -111,619

these numbers don't add up, if I'm importing 111k/day that's way more than what I need per year which is approximatly 1.5m. the numbers just don't add up. and one more thing about my resources which are in excess, why aren't tjeu being sold ? isn't the minister's job to lower the price until they are sold ?
thanks

The minister is more likely to sell excess when funds get low, but there is a priority to tell him to "use up stocks".

As for the demand/capacity issues, use the Annual/Daily toggle and you won't need to try and calculate the difference. All the numbers you see are the previous day numbers. Hope that helps some.

The number on the daily trades page is how much money you spent/received for that item, not the actual number of units. That's why the number is so high. Divide by the approximate price, and that's how many units you actually bought.
