I manage them with priorities as follows:
1. Infrastructure, for all reasons listed in this thread by others. Without supply, you are so screwed.' I always lock in infra spending at the recommended level, in case my minister inadvertently decides to lower it.
3. Law Enforcement
Those two because I think they have some beneficial effects on the economy. Not really sure though.
I hear it has the highest effect on DAR of all social factors.
6. Cultural Subsidy
Nice to have if you have money and jobs to throw away.
If I want to cut inflation and improve my profits, this is the first 'big-ticket' item to get cut. I feel like a bastard for getting rid of this totally, but then this is just a game
8. Family Subsidy
Baby bonus is ATM a dumb idea in this game - I'd use it if it made a difference, but currently population growth is bugged so natural increase doesn't actually occur. Hopefully BG will fix this for update 3, in which case I would up the priority on this.
