we'll call it an oversight

How large of a missile is it supposed to be able to fire? I don't think it can carry ALCMs. I figure 8pts per plane.

Well, according with fas.org, the ctol version carries a payload of 17,000lbls (about the same as a F/A-18E/F according to fas.org) and the VTOL can carry 13,000 (which is the same that fas.org reports for a F/A-18C/D).

If I'm reading the equipment file all F/A-18 have a 18pts. per airplane?

Can the F-35 launch ALCM? I don't know... Coudln't find info on that...

how much is a point? how many missle capacity did we decide to give?

I think I gave it 8. The value is per plane so a standard size squadron can carry up to 144pts (18x8pts). A standard AGM or AS missile is 2-3 pts. Something large like an ALCM is 10pts and would therefore not fit (can't carry the missile between two planes ;) )

the hornet has 324 capacity, so would the JSF have the same or less?
