Russian Federation WWIII AAR

Post by Tnarg »

Well I have tested my abilities with several smaller scenerios and campaigns. It is now time for me to tackle taking on the New Russian Federation in the World War III Scenerio.

This is going to be lengthy work in progress, and I will try to keep consistant with updates. I spent some time working with the Battalion S2 and S3 while I was in the military. During that time I was given the oppurtunity to study much about Soviet Military Doctrine and OPFOR Doctrines. Much of my military organization plans come from FM-100-2-1 through 3 and FM-100-60 and some others. Another great resource for research is GlobalSecurity.org. You can find just about anything regarding anything military in this rich resource, just have to dig a bit. Of course there are a few discrepancies and some modifications to suite my own choices but for the most part I am trying to set a realistic Soviet approach.

Step 1: The Paper Campaign
I spent several days reviewing Soviet Military doctines circa 1986 and some of the later OPFOR doctines from FM-100-60. I discovered that much of the information was based on the huge buildup of military before their collapse. I borrowed much of their planning and decided to break down my military into smaller versions of their Cold War Fronts. My Fronts (Ctrl + #)are based off of my borders and consist of an appropriate amount of Motor Rifle Divisions and Tank Divisions. I plan to build some of these fronts up to Combined Arms Army and Tank Army sized elements (roughly 263 battalions ranging from BMP's, Tnks, all the way down to support) as time permits. For now MRD's and TD's will do according to the size and threat of my Front borders (roughly 35 battalions per division). If you would like approximate details of the different battalions in a MRD and TD or even a CAA or TA, I would be more the happy to email you an approximation.

Step 2: The Fronts
There are Seven Fronts that I am focusing on for my initial setup. They are the Baltic, Polish, Ukraine, Turkish/Iranian, Islamic States, Chinese, and Japanese Fronts. These Fronts are of various sizes according to land and military threat from these Fronts. Most of these Fronts will have a Defensive Mission; however, some Fronts will be prioritized as potential targets once a proper military is in place and allainces forged. I will go into detail on the Tactical and Strategic goals of the various fronts as I do more research. Initial speculation are the Ukraine followed by the Polish after an allaince with Asto-Hungry. The Baltic Union is my naval avenue to the Atlantic with some nice Ore and Oil deposits; however, it can prove to be a nice buffer as well.

Initial Military deployment is going to be one MRD and one TD to each Front. After I have secured my Fronts I will reinforce accordingly to the land size of the Front, the Manpower of the opposing forces, their Military Rating, Military Production scores, Technology, and Prioritized Strategic Targets. I will give further detail on this as I divide my military.

Step 3: Diplomacy
Initial review has allowed me to consider a strong diplomatic campaign with China to ensure that my eastern theater Fronts can be maintained at defensive levels and I can focus on the West. Japan may be a problem, but we will see how that goes. The Islamic States could pose a threat but I am going to keep them low on my priority as well as the Turkey and Iran, both potential future strategic targets after the Ukraine and Polish are secured and Germany and Astro-Hungry provide a nice buffer from any outside western influence.

Of course I am going to go strong on the US as an ally to keep them out of the foray for the time being and too allow for some nice units such as the F-14 and some others. (I have noticed that items are cheaper if you are allied or in good terms, could be wrong though). As mentioned before Germany to be a buffer and maybe the Baltic Union (sitll undecided on this one). I will try my hand at diplomacy with several other regions strictly for resources.

Step 4: Ministers and Department Set up.
Perhaps tommorrow night!

Step 5: Initial Front Deployment
Soon!

Step 6: Development of my Special Operations Program
Soon! Airborne, Amphibous Assualt, Special Operations

Step 7: Organizing my Avaiation Assets
Soon!

Step 8: Organizing my Naval Assets
Soon!

Step 9: Strategic Rocket Forces
Soon!

Step 10: Commerce Future
Soon!

Step 11: Research Direction
Soon!

Step 12: Rethinking Strategic Direction and Goals
Let things pan out for a while.

Step 13: Finetuning the Military
After a thourough look of the state of affairs.

Daily spending for salaries was increased to 24M and maintence increased to 1000M and locked.

State: Peter Howe - Convert neutrals to allies, Trade for new technology, and Trade for profit.

Treasury: Carol Mangis - Foreign investment, and Improve the GDP. Taxes are unlocked; however I have locked Personal with High income at 35%, Middle income at 20%, and Low income at 15%. Everyting else is controlled by the Ai. Bonds are locked.

The scenerio is now set and saved. Scenerio details are Complete Victory, Standard Resources, Real Time, None for game length, Normal Difficulty, WMD are allowed, Fog of War, Government change allowed, LOS is realistic, Initial Funds set to Defualt, and AI stance set to Normal.

I plan on deploying initial MRD's and TD's to my Fronts tommorrow evening.

6 Month Briefing August 21, 2016

The following is a briefing from several of our Department Ministers on the state of affairs of the New Russian Federation. This information is public to all Commrades of the New Russian Federation.

David Thompson - Operations Minister: Since the consolidation and reorganization of the New Russian Federation, the people have lived in safety as our great military once again is resurrected. Our military stance has been downgraded from Defcon 3 to Defcon 4. While the outside world is still in shambles and uncertain, the massive reorganizing and rebuilding of our forces has secured our borders. Active personal is up to 907,738 with a reserve of 128,893 personal. Day by day we grow in strength, and the great peoples of Russia recognize a new patriotism with mandatory conscription at the age of 18. The great peoples understand our past and recognize the glory once had and soon will have again. Defense spending is up with Military efficiancy at 82%. I recommend further spending to ensure that our patriots are given the very best in equipment and training.

A massive production run has commenced to bolster our Front forces and complete our divisional assets. Unfortunatly our previous Commerce Minister has failed us and corrupted millioins of dollars to be spent on unneccessary resources and projects to fill his pockets and foriegn capitilists pockets. There are many short commings causing delays.

Once the initial production run has restocked our Front divisions several plans are in place to commence production on our new Airborne Division, Marine Division, and Strategic Rocket Force. Once our research is complete on the latest Naval Technologies our great Navy will be like no other navy that has sailed the seas.

Peter Howe - State Minister: The world is a very uneasy place right now. All major powers so far are focusing on themselves and mending their once broken countries. As stated in the initial news release on Mar 21, 2016, many old alliances are no longer. I have been working hard on securing better relations with several countries and sadly to no real avail. Our greatest focus has been with India and Austro-Hungry. Germany has recently turned their nose to us, not realizing their immediate situation between France and several other openly hostile countries that surround them. The U.S. has still stated that they show a strong concern towards Russia, but my department continues to work hard. China, our greatest immediate threat, has for the most part closed their doors to the New Russian Federation. With India showing a strong and favorable opinion towards us we are also aware of the tension posed between them and Pakistan and the support that China has for Pakistan. We watch this front closely, and are cautious in our dealings. The Baltic Union has been favorable on allowing a Sea Transit and Supply Treaty, but has showed non favorable opionions towards the New Russian Federation. The Ukraine demonstrates a mixed bag of opions, some of their people clamor for securities of their Commrades, some of their people have been so corrupted by Capitalism and the false asperations of the west. Soon the divide be so strong that action will have to take place, and what was once Russian territory, will once again be Russian territory. The Islamic States show a concern for the New Russian Federation; and our department has determined that due to their radical ideas, negotiations with them will get us no where. Japan has openly stated that they disapprove of the New Russian Federation and have even stated that some of our territory belongs to them. Our forces have actively demonstrated a presence in the region reminding them to take caution.

Carol Mangis - Minister of Treasury: Our ecomy is going through a tremendous pre-stabalization roller coaster ride. Commrades you have endured much in the last 6 months. The GDP is down to $8,912, and overal taxes are at an all time high of 75.5%. Inflation is at 2.3%, and unemployment up to 6.3%. Even with all of the building and money being poured into the economy, our fellow commrades are enduring some hard times. My priorities have been to focus on the GDP and increase our standard of living for all classes of our great land. The wealthy are being taxed at almost 50%, while the Middle class and lower income only around 20%. We are all equal according to socialist standards, and we will all live well once our ecomony stabilizes.

The New Russian Federation is fortunate to have vast lands with boundless resources, we will exploit this fortune and bring even more money in to our economy at the expense of other countries. We may be self supportive now, but we need to grow our economy further and control strategic resources so that the New Russian Federation can set the standard to which other countries will be forced to contribute to our economy.

Dan Black - Commerce Department: While my predessor has managed to stabalize our industiries and allow the New Russian Federation to be self sufficient, Richard Roy has overlooked and abused some major spending rights. We are now faced with too many projects and we suffer many delays because of overspending. A massive road and bridge network connecting Yuzhno to the Motherland is costing millions of unneccessary dollars and is the first project to be cut. The Defense Minister has assured me that an operational Naval Floatilla will soon provide undetered and efficient access to islands in our Pacific Theater. Several military bases have also been authorized upgrades, when we should have downsized first to save money and free up neccessary manpower reserves. Richard Roy has also been found to be making under the table deals with several other countries. This opened the door for Mother Russia losing millions of dollars to pay for resource shortages when we have plenty. Capitalist exploiters such as he need to be made of as examples.

The departments current priorities are to once again have product self sufficiency, continue to produce products for export, and sell off a majority of stored resources. The prices that Richard Roy drove up for domestic prices will also shortly be coming back down so that once again the great people of the New Russian Federation can afford consumables.

Mathew James - Minister of Interior: To begin, I am delighted to announce that recently our great scientist have reached a higher technological level that closely puts us on par with a majority of the highly modernized world. Research efficiency has unfortunatly gone down to 76% due to the massive budget cut we had to endure and still are. We were spending almost 388M daily on research, this is now down to 153M. I am aware that several more massive cuts will be immeninent once our naval program is well under its way. We have been focusing heavily on the modernization of our naval assets. Without going into sensitive details, I can tell you that the New Russian Federation will posses a fleet like never before. We are focusing on researching a carrier that is on par with the U.S. carriers. Also the days of the battleship will soon return.

On the plus side, social spending is to 37.4% of the budget. Promises to the people are underway and soon all of those people that are chosing to run from our stabalizing economy will be regreting the bountiful days ahead. Immigration fees are down to $311 and all lawful, healthy, religious, wealthy, educated and skilled immigrants are greatfully welcomed to the New Russian Federation. Let us hope that those that flee our current hardships recognize the stabilitiy forseen by our Commrades.

A few quick questions, if you dont mind .

1) You replaced ministers.IF the game had had an "execute minister" order, would you have used it ?

2)
Our military efficiancy:5%
What efficiency is this ?

3) Are you only going to defcon 3 for story reasons ? For economic reasons ?

I would prefer sending them to a work camp or politically exhiling the fool. If it would have happened at a time of war I might consider it.
2)
Our military efficiancy:5%

The military efficiancy bonus from the Defcon Status. (I don't think that I intended to add this, I am editing it out now)
3) Are you only going to defcon 3 for story reasons ? For economic reasons ?
At the time of war my economy is still struggling in the Treasury Department. If I would have gone to 1 or even 2, alot of my prewar equipment order would go into a freeze and any new equipment that I need to complete filling my initial Front strengths would be just sitting on the assembly lines. For story purposes I surely would have gone to 1. Good question though.

China-Russia War Briefing Jan 29, 2017

The following is a briefing from the Operations and Defensive Ministers. This information is public to all Comrades of the New Russian Federation.

David Thompson - Operations Minister: We are just over two weeks into the China-Russia War. After a short assessment by the China and Japanese Front generals, the defensive stance was lifted and commanders were given orders to go on the offensive. We had several minor victories by the end of the second day. On Jan 18, several regiments from the China Front have captured the Chinese city of Manzhouli. A single Motorized Battalion successfully captured the town of Ulaangom on the western frontiere of China. On Jan 21 several other regiments have captured the China city of Darhan, with Erdenet being captured shortly after.
Jan 23, forces from the Japanese Front captured the city of Fujin and prepared for the First Tactical Objective - The military outpost of Jiamusi, Jiamusi, and Shuangyashan.

Image

Forces of the China Front near Vladivostok have managed to hold the lines, softening up artillery and AA in the area. Several regiments north of the Lipovtsy air base managed to break the lines and secure the cities of Mishan, Jaxi, and, Qitaihe.

Image

Chris Morrison - Defense Minister:

China Front Forces: 104 (this number reflects active units, not in repair)
Japanes Front Forces: 42 (" ")

Alert Level: 37%
Active Personal: 913,265
Reserve Personal: 141,621
Tech Level: 103
Military Efficiancy: 80%
Military Approval: 91%
Morale: Medium
Kills: 60
Losses: 10

Our troops are performing well. Our defensive lines are holding and several minor victories have boosted morale. Equipment in production status to bring our divisions up to full strength are just now starting to roll off the production lines and shortly our forces on the Japanese and China Fronts will be at full strength.

Orders have been placed for a Marine Brigade and several Special Operations forces have also been requested.

The Chinese have an artillery weapon system capable of indirect fire at extreme ranges. Forces near Vladivostok have taken heavy losses due to several of these weapon systems operating in the vicinity. Recon of the area have shown that these systems can only reached by our SSM and Air assets. Priority has been given to oppurtunity fire on these systems upon identification.

Annual Briefing May 9, 2017

The following is a briefing from several of our Department Ministers on the state of affairs of the New Russian Federation. This information is public to all Comrades of the New Russian Federation.

Note: The Annual Briefing was scheduled for public release on Mar 21, 2017. Due to preoccupation of our Operations and Defense Ministers with the success of the China/Russia War, I have authorized a temporary delay.

David Thompson - Operations Minister: This year has been a taxing and rewarding year for the New Russian Federation. As we are all aware China has deceived our country and declared war to obtain our valuable northern resource area in Siberia. This plan however has been thwarted and I present you with some major victories that our brave patriots have accomplished since the outbreak. As you can see in the map our China and Japanese Front forces have made staggering advances into the Northern and North Eastern areas of China. We are at the doors of Beijing, and soon we plan to proceed with a stunning blow to the PRC.
Image

I have recommended that we increase our Defcon level to 2 for increased production and preparedness. I believe that our economy is now strong enough to support this decision, and the required funds for this increase will greatly benefit our number 1 priority, the military.

Chris Morrison - Defense Minister: Comrades as you all know I am not a public speaker, and my job is ensuring the success of our military. I will keep this short and provide you with numbers.

Active Personal: 1,087,503 Reserve Personal: 76,598
Ground Units: R63/ D950
Air Units: R68/ D93
Naval Units: R27/ D54
Submarine Units: R16/ D29
Standard Missiles: R3/ D996
Nuclear Missiles: R49/ D65
ICBM: R0/ D48

Unit Production: 81/144
Missile Production: 56/78
Salaries: $18M
Maintenance: $399.82M
Training: $0
Preparedness: $256.89M
Fixed: $647.73M
Unit Building: $109,525M

Mil Eff:69%
Alert Level: 29%
MAR: 100%

Kills/Losses: 408/84

As recommended by the Operations Minister, upgrading our Defcon Level to 2 would change our Preparedness cost to $578.01M and our Fixed cost to $995.85M. I strongly support this recommendation as it will greatly enhance our troop readiness and gear up production on much needed military hardware for both our offensive operations and defensive operations. If you will excuse me comrades, I have a briefing with the Operations Minister and President.

Peter Howe - State Minister: As we all know, the New Russian Federation is at war with China. It has been discovered by captured information that China had conquest plans into our resource rich regions in Siberia. China; however, has miscalculated in their plans and now has deeply impacted the opinion of many countries. It has been disclosed that after the aquisition of these resources China planned on setting its eyes on India, Indomalaysia, and Australia with the ultimate goal of securing the Pacific Theatre by luring the US Pacific Fleet into a peacekeeping role only to cut off and devoured into an elaborate trap. The Islamic States were of course part of this plan opening a door to the Middle East and European Theater. With the announcement of these plans as they were discovered, all of these countries soon declared war on China. The real mystery is why the Baltic Union has declared war on China, perhaps a show of support for some powerful players in this war, regrettably this show of support was not for the New Russian Federation.

My department has been pushing hard at the aquisition of allies. Priorities have shifted to partners that maintain global strategic locations such as Mexico, Egypt, and Turkey. We have supplied these countries with hundreds of millions in funds, and technologies; however, we are making little ground. We will continue our effort in order to keep these strategic locations open to keep our exports flowing and our future options open.

We have also been pushing for an alliance with India, Indomalaysia, and Australia due to our mutual enemy. They too continue to be defiant to our diplomacy despite our millions in funds and technology given to them. Even if they don't become allies, perhaps they will use this technology to keep the Chinese busy on other fronts.

The US is the only country that really worries the people. Their government has a 70% casus beli against the New Russian Federation despite some nice trade deals we have had with them. Along with Japan's 70% casus beli, we need to keep an eye on these two potential allies.

Carol Mangis - Ministry of Treasury: Good afternoon comrades. The New Russian Federation is showing signs of stabilization despite the great sacrifices our great people have been making in ensuring the safety our our great federation. The following is an Annual Report of our financial situation:

Income Summery
Tax Income: $1,046,881M
Foreign Income: $0
Domestic Sales: $918,383M

Production Trade
Purchases: $29,355M
Sales: $188,741M

Current Expense
Research Cost: $293,438M
Construction: $44,069M
Unit Cost: $109,525M
Social Spending: $318,434M
Military: $246,277M
Loan Payments: $28.19M
Production: $879,827M
Maintainance: $98,218M

Overal Tax Rate: 70%
Inflation: r=red]-3.3%
Unemployment: 9.6%
GDP/c: $6,540

Estimated Annual Budget with Trade:-$24,557M

Dan Black - Commerce Department: I am please to be here today with exceptional news. The only area that the New Russian Federation is short on is in Petroleum. We are currently producing 16.8 MBP with a demand of 18.5 MBP. We have plans of opening several new refineries in the plentiful fields of Siberia so that we can maintain a high degree of efficiency. Despite our victories in China with their oil fields, the efficiency desired will be years before those facilities will benefit our great country. I am pushing hard to exploit our own natural resources and increasing our supply lines to benefit our great federation. This of course will require funds from the great people for the initial investment, but what will come will be the promise of an equal and great share.

Mathew James - Minister of Interior: While our great country is not a leader in technology and social spending, we are making progress in catching up to those leaders. Within the last few months alone, our department has greatly increased our research spending to get us closer to our recommended level. Yes comrades we too, have suffered great cuts in social spending, but we will weather these hard times in a promise of the greatness to come. While our Domestic Approval Rating is at an all time low of 17%, our Military Approval Rating is a solid 100%. Immigration is slow at 473,074 with a fee of $311 per citizen giving a $147.24M boost to our revenue. Emmigration is at a staggering 10,109,987, of course comrades this more or less represents the massive amounts of refugees fleeing from our conquests in China, so my field analyst tell me. The literacy rate is at 69% and tourism is at 25%. Life expectancy is around 66 years of age, and the average age of our federation is 24, with 1.7 children on average per family. A young generation indeed, but one that recognizes the greatness of what the New Russian Federation will soon offer.

Social Spending has been fluctuating during the last year, but currently we at 37.1%. The daily cost for this is $872.42M with a recommended level at $1,744M,

Our Research and Development Department has been making strides with an increased budget at $803.94. Our efficiency has increased to 97%. They are focused at a 40% general tech level, 22% technologies spending, and 38% research effiency. We currently are approximately 50% towards a technological level of 104. The US is the leader in technology with a technological level of 109.

China-Russia War Briefing May 9, 2017

The following is a briefing from the Operations and Defense Minister. This information is classified and available only to the Western, Central, and Eastern Theater Commanders along with Generals of the Baltic Union, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran, Islamic State, China, and Japanese Fronts, and key Divisional and Regimental field commanders of the China and Japanese Fronts.

David Thompson - Operations Minister: Comrades as we are all aware our troops of the China and Japanese Fronts have established themselves at the very doors of Beijing. We currently control areas directly east and west of Beijing and the massive military district surrounding this area. As you can see in the map, we plan on reinforcing these east and west lines with several brigade size elements from the the Baltic Union, Ukraine, and Islamic State Fronts, so that we can coordinate a full encirclement of the Beijing area. I have requested a total of 5 Tank Regiments and 1 Motor Rifle Regiment to join the established east and west lines and encircle the entire Beijing area, pocketing this sizable force and preventing reinforcements. I have also requested several squadrons of Fighters, and Tactical Bombers from the West to participate in the erosion of Beijing Forces before we commence our Three Prong Attack. 11 Naval assets are under way and I have made a request for several more from the Pacific Fleet for a thorough blockade of the the Bay of Bo Hai, and Yellow Sea.

I am requesting an immediate upgrade to Defcon 2 to gear our production and increase our troop readiness. Pulling troops from several other Fronts has been a hard decision and leaves vulnerable weak areas along those points; however, I am certain that these troops are necessary for a victory in the Beijing area with limited casualties. Once Beijing has been secured, these troops will return to their original Fronts.

Intelligence has suggested a dense defensive area around Beijing and the military districts around it. Beijing alone consists of a heavily entrenched Brigade size force compounded by several other highly dense urban areas in the region with entrenched Brigade sized elements. The Beijing Airfield is of most concern with reports suggesting at least two regiments of operational squadrons, and several more in reserve. We can confirm this by a recent missile attack on the facility which erupted in a swarm of activity reducing the strength of a large percentage of our east and west perimeter lines. The Beijing Military Base is also of concern as reports suggest that a large number of units (perhaps a division sized element or more) are in reserve or under repair in this base. The Beijing Naval Base is of little concern; however, the ships stationed in the area are proving to be a nuisance towards troops along the coast. We have deployed 11 Naval assets from the Pacific Fleet to blockade the Bo Hai Bay. I am requesting that an additional number of ships from our Pacific Fleet join this blockade to ensure that a large portion of the Chinese Fleet is trapped or eliminated.

Chris Morrision - Defense Minister: Comrades as you can see we have Beijing in our sights; however, a massive entrenched army prevents us from a major strategic victory. Our troops on the east and western lines are supply weary and stretched thin. Supply lines are very fragile with the nearest supply points hundreds of klicks away. Supply for our troops via air assets has proven to be a kick in the face with the massive enemy air assets in the area. I have requested all available medium range AA assets in non-sensitive roles to quickly deploy to the lines. I am also requesting several dozen squadrons of fighters and strategic bombers from the Western and Central Theaters to redeploy to operational air bases in the vicinity. These redeployments are to be kept under a thick veil of secrecy.

Along with the Air Assets requested it has been determined that an assault on Beijing would be suicide with the number of troops maintaining the east and west lines. Our plan is to request at least 6 regiments consisting of: 2 TR from the Baltic Union Front, 1 TR from the Islamic State Front, 3 TR from the Ukraine Front and 1 MRR from the Ukraine Front, to reinforce the west line and then eventually redeploy to the south of Beijing and North, fully encircling the Beijing area. A naval flotilla of 9 vessels and 2 submarines will establish a blockade of the Bay of Bo Hai. Several other Naval Assets have been requested to support the blockade and provide coverage of the Yellow Sea.

Once a full encirclement has been established air operations will commence on damaging the Beijing Air Base facilities followed by what is hoped to be a massive counter strike by Chinese air assets which will quickly be picked off by regional MR and LR AA units requested and then mopped up by fighters.

While the air base and the Chinese air assets are being watered down, a massive bombardment by SSM units will commence on Chinese LR AA units, LR Artillery units, and the military base facilities near Beijing.

Once Enemy AA units, and the air units are eliminated or at least thinned out, our ground forces will commence a three pronged advance on Beijing, the Beijing Air base, and the Beijing Military Base. Spetnaz Units will focus on securing the Naval Facility with the goal in mind to either trap the Chinese Naval Assets or eliminate them in a singular fashion as to not greatly endanger our own fleet blockading the Bay of Bo Hai.

Once the Beijing area is occupied and the encircled units destroyed, redeployed units will return to their original Fronts.

Our intelligence calculations are that there are roughly 50 to 100 Chinese units deployed or in reserve in this region. Destruction of this size of force along with the capture of the Chinese capitol is sure to reduce the Chinese MAR and DAR providing what is hoped to be a diplomatic chance at a Chinese cease to hostilities. China is of little importance in the grand scheme of our overall plans. Hopefully this will commence in talks towards a cease fire.

If not, it is noted that the PRC is growing weaker and weaker as we move deeper and deeper into their territory. Beijing being the exception! Once the forces of Beijing are encircled and eliminated our offensive operations will slow on this Front and and an initiative will resort back to a full Frontal Defensive Buildup and our original plan for an offensive in the west will commence.

Comrades, I now open the forum for discussion and possible alterations of our preposed plan called: OPERATION DRAGON HEART and future plans of the New Russian Federation.

(That would be all readers of this AAR that want to participate in the affairs of the New Russian Federation - please assume the (RP'd) role of one the above mentioned: Western, Central, and Eastern Theater Commanders along with Generals of the Baltic Union, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran, Islamic State, China, and Japanese Fronts, and key Divisional and Regimental field commanders of the China and Japanese Fronts. If you are experienced assume the role of a Theater Commander, if you are someone like me (somewhat new) assume the role of a divisional or regimental commander. All ideas appreciated and welcome.
