Does mutual defense add to beli ?

Okay, a region (A)declares war on a region (b) that i have a mutual defense treay with(both ways).

Does my belli bar go up more than if I didnt have a mutual defense treay with the attacked ?

Yes and No...

Signing the treaty gets you better relations with B and your Belli to A changes according to your relations to B when A attacks B. So if other than the mutual defense you have lousy relations, you'll see little change...
