Build cap ?

Okay, is all build cap the same ?

In other words, we know that build cap affects how neighboring regions feel towards you.

BUT, is it simply build cap total ?
Or is there some difference in the effect by type of build ?

Do they view a build cap that consists of 12 ground the same as a build cap that consists of 12 air ?Sea ?

The reason i ask is becuase i see on a regular basis where my build cap is higher than a neighbors BUT their belli doesnt change towards me .

For instance.
I am playting the british Isles campaign right now and I am ireland.
Now my build cap is like 9.
Northen Ireland, who i would think, there would be some serious animosity with (between me-Ireland and them-Northen Ireland), has a buld cap of 3.

Yet in roughly a year I have seen NO increase in thier beli bar to me.

Now the majority of my build cap is naval. Six out of the 9 in fact.
now the thing that strikes me is, if you ignore the 6 naval , we both have the same build cap of 3.
And there than is no build cap reason for the belli bar to increase.

Which it isnt ,despite the real build cap being 9.

Now i have no treaties with N.Ireland,so there are no direct diplomatic adjustments(positive ones) affecting the belli bar.

Well all i know is if u build one more outpost c if there is a change in ur relations.

What is your current culture rating, it seams to have dome influence too. I Might be wrong but if you got a very high culture rating, is seem it lower the belli bar

Yup, your 100% right Sebastiaan.

Culture and a few other dar investments effect the belli bars.

But we as of yet, dont know how much of an effect and when its added into the calculation.

This means,that we dont know if the Dar investments can counter a bad build cap ,or if they simply can only increase the effect of a good build cap.

Ive seen evidence for both .
