WM should be friendier

Post by Chaim »

WM should be friendier, its really harsh to keep they happy and be kicked is bad for the business.

You should be a litte more precise in your suggestion; What did you do that they disliked that you feel they should tolerate more?

There are a few other threads talking about things that should affectin region relations and other things, don't think there is one about WM specifically.

However, they will always get upset when ppl declare war on other regions or when you're doing a massive build up (build capacity double or more of other regions) because that is the design.

Had you attacked anyone? What was your domestic approval?

There are some other threads around discussing some of this, you may want to do some searches

I think WM need to be more aggressive...

Aggressive to the AI that is...

Boot the AI out for warmongering :D

Just because the Japanese happened to build one near multiple fault lines doesn't make them any more dangerous than they were before the Earthquake.

yeah the wm will spend all day kicking you around like a football but if you have 3 AI's on you or they do other evil things it will do nothing.
All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.

Bascially keep your Environment and culture spending high.

The reason that the AI does not boot them out is when they declare war on you they likely have 90% or higher Causus Belli against you and a higher WM approval to start. We have seen cases where it has happened that an AI is booted out. It applies the same standards to both Player and AI regions.

i agree with CptBritish the WM should be more aggresive towards the ai cause they go out and start multiple wars and there wm rating doesn't go down at all i don't attack anyone and my wm rating continues to fall so i now after about a year i cancel my wm membership as soon as i have things built up a bit

There have been a number of discussions on what makes the WM rating rise and fall but I don't support the idea of the WM being harder on the AI regions than it is on the human regions. It should apply the same standard to all. The AI's only go "stating multiple wars" if they have the justification and if they don't, the WM treats them accordingly.

Maybe Iraq or iran in the middleast scenario ?

Im pretty sure i saw one of those regions having a NO under world market membership .

Im not sure if they get kicked or start out a non-member though.

I dont think ive seen a text message saying an AI was kicked out of the WM either, but the AI clearly trys to act within the WM rules,so this to me makes sense.

However ,having some AI regions who act more recklessly would surely be fun i think.
Having an "outlaw" region as far as the WM is concerned would allow players to behave more recklessly themselves ,at least agaisnt that particular nation.
