How to stop allies attacking a former enemy ?

Post by BigStone »

So... i was attacked by region X and my allies (included a mutual defense treaty) helped me.Verry nice.. 8)

We were kicking buts. But at some point i offer X a ceasefire... and he accepted it !!!

I immediately withdraw my troops and we lived long and happy.

The problem is .. my allies keeps on fighting with X.

How do i stop that :-?
If there is no possibility i think i would be nice to have one....

Cheers

They have to stop it on their own. We'll see about tweaking the diplomacy AI to watch for this sort of thing.

Will there be a chance that we could have 3-way negotiation?

"3 way negotiation"

I don't think so... at least not anytime soon. I'll keep it in mind for future work, and see if there is anything that can be done.

My allies never help me in the wars, in south america map the dammed argentinians never help me fight the Cisplatina, uh i mean, Uruguai  , well doesnt make any difference, but when paraguai, bolivia, venezuela and colombia atacks me a hand would be fine.

Yes i've only had an ally help me once... and we didn't have a Mutual Defence Treaty... So he must have just been looking for a chance to get lucky (Even thought he got sh*t kicked outta him and I had to bail him out with my already streched forces)...
Supporting Nuclear Power in the UK.

Just because the Japanese happened to build one near multiple fault lines doesn't make them any more dangerous than they were before the Earthquake.

As I mentioned previously... these will have to be conditions that we program the AI to watch for a little more so that they can react appropriately.
