ai is impossible to do deals with

first id like to say this game is great

i like everything but 1 thing. the ai in the game is dumb/no fun/makes no offers/does not accept offers. the only thing iv seen them do is attack nothing else.**** they wont even take say petrolem when they have critical shortages happening or any other item for free. i was hoping that they would try to do more deals with you and or be the bully and intimidate you into giving them stuff (pick somthing you can trade) money/items/military. ill write more in detail if if there is interst in my ideas? but i must go slave for the ol mighty nickel. (go to work)

You might wish to read through some of the existing threads, there are already a number of discussions on this issue. Update #2, available next week, will also see changes to the diplomatic AI so watch for that.

I sure hope that update will improve the AI on making deals. Currently it is almost worthless....
