Coast crawling unit in ocean

Post by tkobo »

Okay, i think this is related to those other "units floating" "units drowning"
bugs but not sure where to put it.So feel free to move this to the apropraite spot.

I had a mech infrantry unit on a pier. I scrapped the pier. The unit will NOT move unto the adjacent land hex even if manually ordered to do so.

Instead its trying to reach a land hex like 3 or 4 hexes down the coast.
Its slowly doing so by moving from ocean hex to ocean hex.
Like its swimming along the coast.

Its moving so slow that you cant even see it move ,only way to know is too come back to it days/weeks of gametime later and see it in a new spot.

There is a flashing green "path line" that can be seen every once in a while that is pointing to a hex somewhere down the coast.

Are you training a new Navy Seal unit? :D (little telephone poles on their tiny animated shoulders)

This was an unresolvable issue at the time of update 6 but was known to be a possible problem. If you build a pier in its hex you can get it out...

The mech units are walking along the bottom of the ocean, like the pirates did in the movie Pirates of the Carribean. It's muddy down their so it takes them a long time to get where they are going.

hmmmmmm... Maybe strykers or bradleys modified to operate fully submerged? Or they could just dust off some of the Ducks they have up in the wisconsin dells. ;)
LOL soon even the toughest soldiers will never have walked further than across the base to get into their vehicles...

EU? Our graphic artist co-op, Slyvain is from France... he is heading back soon and let me know that the weather is very hot there. Too bad he's leaving us. Stay cool...
