Saving in demo - can't figure it out...

When I pull up the save menu in the demo, I can't select anything to type a name, choose a slot, etc. The only button at the bottom is the "x." How do I save within the Demo?

where it says "file name" click to the right of that, and start typing, i dont think there is a cursor
