I don't think it is another new update unless it has been made secretly.

You can auto update it though by clicking on the auto update in your sr directory.

But if it is a new update, i hope they fixed the vista and multiplayer bugs. I mean, the one where no matter what you chose as your gov type it ends up as the one naturally set even if you have change gov type ticked on options. Also I hope it fixes (dunno whether it game or vista) the problem when saves no longer work after a couple of weeks of the save being inactive, however, i will do more testing when my mate comes around to play sr again.
