If i order it to hex a specific hex is there any chance it can miss and hit a completely different hex ?

We might have some of that with long range missiles, but not with artillery. Since hexes are anywhere from 8 to 30 km, I don't think that current artillery is that inaccurate. Even SCUDs were able to hit within 8km of their target weren't they???

Also, your again talking about an entire battalion being off target by more then 10km...
