Keep units from automatically moving and relocating?

They just start moving on their own accord and I don't like it. :x

Goto Operations Panel, at the bottom is an "Initiative" slider. Move that down to 0 and the computer won't move your units.

Open the operations tab and put the Initiative slider to 0.

If that doesn't work, your units may be moving back to base for repairs because they are about to die, or they may be out of supply so are falling back from the enemy advance.

Be aware though that units will then only move when you order them. The exception is if they are forced to retreat by the enemy. They won't dash off to repair if damaged. I always use initiative at 0%.

I know the idea has been suggested, but I think we need an additional slider that sets the limit for units to recognise they need repair and withdraw from battle to do so...

Another bar set from 0 to 90, representing the % health they have to determine autorepair... With the setting at 60%, they repair any time their strength reduces to 59% or less... a 0% setting means they fight to the last man (unless the player intervenes...)

There are also 2 priority setting in Operations:

- Centralize command&control
- Increase area c&c

Altough i'm not sure about the effects it seems that for point one the
units stick more together.
Cheers
